Republicans Vote Against Anti Asian Hate Bill

Guess we play too rough. They took their marbles and went back home to mommy.
They are awaiting the next false racist accusation from the Fake News MSM for them to parrot.

There will be more threads shortly.

I wouldn't doubt that they have a phone app that alerts them every time the MSM craps out another fake story.

Yeah ....

There don't miss a Fake News story that's for sure.

They are ALL loyal to their communist handlers.

You have been tricked by the white "liberals" once again.
The existing Hate Crimes Law addresses hate crimes associated with race, gender, or sexual orientation.

It's an Emperor with New Clothes.

It's worse than that.

It makes free speech punishable.

It's unConstitutional.

Once again the Democrat Party is doing the bidding of the CCP.

I don't even have to go that far ... It's a poorly constructed attempt to win minority favor, and an embarrassingly shoddy attempt at throwing the race card.

It's not a shoddy attempt at throwing the Race Card.

It is an attempt to get black Americans to attack members of the AAPI community and blame it on White Supremacy ..... aka White America.

Well I can agree to disagree on that point.

To me, a decent attempt to throw the race card would be one that might actually effect a positive change.
A shoddy attempt to throw the race card, would be to gain ill-fated favor, and incite poorly constructed criticism or hostility.

What you described would still fit my personal view of a shoddy attempt ... :auiqs.jpg:

You think this bill is a shoddy attempt ?

Really ....

You don't see the "shift the blame of whats happening " to White America factor?

The Republicon Party is now on life support

The Doctor on staff in the emergency room states---

I only hear incoherent words, a mumbling of sorts
The eyes are glazed over, sight is fading fast
By the mid-terms the Republicons will be unable to walk alone

By 2024 the Repubs will need a marrow transplant to survive

The only matching donor available is Bibi

Bibi’s response is, convert to Zionism or DIE you morons
I'm too busy murdering children

I dug into the data, for some reason, the link IM2 provided, did not give us the text to the bill, it was broken.

I have no idea why they don't want us reading the text of the bill, so here is a good link to the text.

S. 937

AN ACT

To facilitate the expedited review of COVID–19 hate crimes, and for other purposes.

My best guess why the DNC vote for it, is because it is pandering, and . . . the "other purposes." My best guess why GOP folks voted against it? Is there really is no real harm that justifies action, and. . . of course, the "other purposes," is cover for retraining much of the city and state personal in critical race theory.

. . and setting up snitch lines.

Now, onto the math.

The justification for the bill?

"According to a recent report, there were nearly 3,800 reported cases of anti-Asian discrimination and incidents related to COVID–19 between March 19, 2020, and February 28, 2021, in all 50 States and the District of Columbia."

Out of a nationwide population of 330,149,796 as of December 16, 2019, gives us a percent of the population affected by "Hate crime" of .00115%. This is not a compelling problem to spend millions of dollars on to readjust the law enforcement community.

The left is trying to play politics with the establishment culture, over something that is clearly not a problem. Much like the elite oligarchs had done with our educational systems back in the turn of the century with tax exempt foundations.

What is the percetage of whites in the Democratic Party?
Nonwhites make up four-in-ten Democratic voters, but fewer than a fifth of Republican voters.

Propaganda has done that. People repeadetly being told the same things over and over. With many of the media changing their political side seamlessly. Usually Repub to Dem. Which means they were not Repubs in the first place.

Politics went both ways on this bill.

I heard it was Ted Cruz who pushed to add bans against school admissions discriminating against Asians.

And Democrats refused that.

So around and around that went, both sides arguing the other is politicizing the bill. And both wanting the other to fail, and blaming the other party for the fail.

Next?

I applaud the republicans. The constitution does not provide for enhanced penalties due to the victim's ethnicity, gender or position of public service. The "hate crime" term is ridiculous. If a murder is committed, that is pretty much the ultimate hate crime regardless of any other circumstance.

Republicans know propaganda when they see it.
Assault and murder are already crimes. Democrats making it a HATE crime on paper just for publicity.

So how do you figure that the murder of a white person by a white person is any less of a hate crime than the murder of a black person by a white person? Murder is the ultimate hate crime regardless of any other fact. Hate crime enhancements are a bunch of liberal/prog bullshit. The penalty is for the crime--not for some impossible to prove enhancement that some liberal idiot dreamed up. SMH Morons.

You think this is a winning argument for you?

#LOLGOP #TooFunny #CLASSIC

It's funny how while Sanford & Son was probably one of my top 3 favorite shows of all time, I hated Lamont! I liked everybody else on that show but him. Just another bleeding heart liberal troublemaker. But I guess many households had one or two regardless of race or anything else.
