Ten Republicans seen above ended up voting for a bill to keep Haitian refugees in the US Thursday afternoon. These 10 Republicans are: Reps. Don Bacon of Nebraska, Mike Carey of Ohio, Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Carlos Gimenez of Florida, Mike Lawler of New York, Nicole Malliotakis of New York, Rich McCormick of Georgia, Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida, and Mike Turner of Ohio.

Democrat Hakeem Jeffries tried to explain. "We thought that democrats would easily take over Congress in the midterms", said Jeffries, "But it turns out many of them have decided to drop out of their respective races for a variety of reasons. But I think the deciding factor was the fact that the GOP Congress has decided to help us keep illegal immigrants in the US indefinitely by voting with us in solidarity last week on the issue. It turns out that the GOP is just as much in favor as illegal immigration as we are. Who knew? Also, you would think that the GOP overturning Roe vs. Wade would have made abortion rates go down, but they have actually gone up after all their Red states voted to put abortion in their state constitutions. Just keep that on the down low. We don't want that sort of thing getting out in the press. And all this talk about taking our gender and DEI teaching out of public schools, not a one of them has stood up to do that, even in their own state. As a result, I can conclude that the GOP is much better at spreading our own agenda than we are, so many of us will not be running in the coming 2026 midterm elections. In fact, they seem to hate Trump more than we do. Just ask MTG."

No word yet on whether John Fetterman will even bother switching parties now.

The scary part is I had to double check what section this thread was under to confirm it was satire. It terrifies me that I could see this being a real article.

Protected Status enacted by Biden and Democrats for Haitians is the biggest fraud and crime perpetrated on Americans and Haitians themselves.

Its disappointing that there are still some RINOs in congress

But even at their worst on a vote like this, a fallen conservative repub is better than the democrat

Hopefully they will lose in the next primary circa 2028

The House Republicans voting to extend TPS were: Don Bacon of Nebraska, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Mike Lawler of New York, María Elvira Salazar of Florida, Carlos Giménez of Florida, and Nicole Malliotakis of New York. Kiley recently left the Republican Party to become an independent.
