Rabbis forced the Romans to crucify Jesus

Of course the Romans crucified jews who killed
Romans or just attacked Roman rule----which is
why Jesus and Barabbas were up for Crucifixion.
What they did not do is go after jews who
killed jews-----did they act against Judas and
Caiaphas?------those guys are, according to the
writings you call "scriptures" the killers of
JESUS (uhm----da jooooo). Something your
jelly-bean lady forgot to tell you-----PONTIUS
PILATE----murderer by crucifixion of THOUSANDs
was NOT A JOOOOO----better luck next time.
How about HEROD who murdered John the Baptist?
Well of course Pilate is the one who had him crucified. But more than one person can be responsible for a death. The Jews are the ones that captured him and brought him to Pilate in order to have him executed. What do you think their trial was all about?

Why are you so upset by people stating this obvious fact? Are you a Jew?

Herod Antipas was not Herod the Great. He seems to think Jesus is reincarnated from John the Baptist.

OK…let’s say that’s true. If so, it was a small band of Jews - while 99% of Jews living at the time (millions) never even heard of Jesus. So from that very limited incident, all Jews for all time have been blamed?

That would be as if a couple of dozen or so blacks murdered a specific person two thousand years ago - and then books were written saying “the blood of Name is on blacks’ hands and their descendants!”, and for thousands of years after that singular incident, black children were subjected to “Name killers!!!” and millions of blacks for centuries were expelled, persecuted, and murdered as a result of the horrific bigotry put forth following that ancient incident.

How would that be?

The whole population of Palestine never exceeded 700,000, but otherwise I agree with you. The religious leaders in Judah were a flinty bunch who didn't like the Galileans to begin with. Israel was much more prosperous and cosmopolitan than Jerusalem.

what "jews" "captured" him? The man was a PUBLIC figure and walked freely thruout Jerusalem in the midst of ALL THEM JEWS WHO HATED HIM AND WANTED TO KILL HIM. If WE jews wanted to kill him he would have been dead long before Pilate got him

Nope. Most of Jesus' three year ministry was in the North around Galilee and Capernaum. He was safe there.

Some scholars think there were as many as six million Jews living in the Roman Empire. I‘m not talking just about Jerusalem.

yes, the jews in this forum then would be that same minority that have yet to be brought to justice -

yours is a hollow jester - their deliberation included the corruption of the jewish religion itself perpetuated to this day ... a messiah would have to be a jew is an egregious crime against the heavens itself.

Makes no sense.. there were no Christians or Muslims during Jesus time.

if that ^^^^^ is a citation, I cannot access it
oh----from the book edited by Constantine----original author of the laws which formed the basis
of the INQUISITION ---and the fave of the islamo-nazis---the NEUREMBURG LAWS. For the record---
Caiaphas was a ROMAN CLIENT-----an appointee ---
utterly despised by the recognized RELIGIOUS LEADERS----to wit---the Pharisees

Where do you get this 99% of Jews never heard of him nonsense?

Many Jews ended up following Jesus. They were the first Christians. Real Jews who actually believed in their own scripture became Christians. Jesus admonished the scribes and Pharisees of the time. They were not true believers in God and disgraced his temple. Jesus exposed them as hypocrite and liars. Not all Jews are to blame at that time, just the ones that knew and heard him yet still rejected him and demanded his death.

Jews that didn’t and don’t follow him and rejected Jesus, by definition, are anti-Christs. Jews, just like most people today, know who Jesus was, yet reject him. Anyone can convert, so no Jew is automatically doomed to be condemned.

Revelations describes the ones who call themselves Jews, but they are not. They are synagogues of Satan. The ”real Jews”, are the ones that accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

The first fail is that the entire religion is based on their messiah being killed and resurected. And then they blame us for the death. They should be thanking us. If we didn't kill the dude, there would be no Xtianity. ;)

there were romans---with their VESTAL VIRGINS and
"gods" created by the matings of gods
like Zeus with earth ladies and declared "demigods"
by vote of the senate (aka college of cardinals)
Shariah law is, simply, a ripoff of canon law. The
Sanhedrin did not convict Jesus HISTORICALLY and
such a claim does not even exist in "THE SCRUPTURES ACCORDING TO EMPEROR CONSTANTINE"

You’re deflecting. The point is that there were MILLIONS of Jews living during Jesus’ time, 99% of whom never even heard of the guy. And despite that, all Jews for all times have been blamed for Jesus’ death, and have been expelled, persecuted, and murdered for thousands of years because of one relatively minor incident (people were crucified all the time) that occurred in ancient times.

The article you posted talks about Muslims and Christians during Jesus lifetime.

The culprits obviously weren't ALL Jews.. just the Sanhedrin in Judea.

I don't know why they were blamed for the crucifixion or why they were frequently expelled.
