Places of Worship Now Essential Service

Where would Donald Plump have the authority to over rule governors?

People should be able to have a place of worship...just as long as these churches provide safety and follow guidelines.
Trump did say that he would leave reopening up the economy to the governors. But apparently, some of these blue state governors rather keep the lockdown longer. For what? Oh yeah, because if you keep the lockdown intact...people can't go places. People cannot buy anything. And people can't go to places they worship.

If people are real Christians they can worship anywhere they don't need a building.

Freedom to assemble for worship has a tad bit of history in our nation. Going back to Plymouth Rock.
But worship is not excluded to mega-churches. Worship happens everywhere. And responsibility lays with responsible congregations.
Who brought up mega churches? Topic is freedom to assemble and worship.
Exact reason the Pilgrims left England.

Exactly. When Jesus told Peter that on him He would build His church, Jesus was talking about the people in the congregation, not the building they met in.

Sorry, but if they want to worship, the building isn't required, but the people are. And, like I've said further up this thread, they can get creative and figure out new ways of doing things.

Unfortunately, there are some preachers out there who need to have the people around them. Kinda like Trump needing his rallies to stroke his ego. Preachers of the mega churches are whom I'm referring to.

Yes. Anywhere. Now.

Worship has been conducted on television, in drive-in movie theaters and in cloistered monasteries. On short wave radio, from the hoods of Jeeps near the front, on tailgates of pick up trucks and Conestoga wagons. In cathedrals and basilicas and mosques and synagogues. On the bunks in Treblika and in the aisles of St. Peter's.

AND in local churches. The government has NO authority to stop peaceable assembly and the free exercise of religion.

Where do the Governors get the authority to nullify the US Constitution?

How the hell is the Constitution being nullified? Nobody is stopping them from gathering, they are just wanting them to do it safely. It's not the building that makes the church, it's the people in the congregation.

They shall make no law. YOU, and GOVERNEMENT do NOT get to decide how.

No church can be closed because HOW a person chooses to worship is BEYOND the authority of government.

Governor Roy Cooper has stopped churches from congregating until they sued him.

That's a temporary freeze on the order.

Conservative Christian leaders sued Gov. Roy Cooper on Thursday, asking a court to throw out his restrictions on indoor religious services in North Carolina during the COVID-19 pandemic. They argued the limits, initiated by Cooper with health in mind, violate their rights to worship freely.

Two Baptist churches, a minister and a Christian revival group filed the federal lawsuit seeking to immediately block enforcement of rules covering religious services within the Democratic governor's executive orders. The latest order still largely prevents most faith organizations from holding indoor services attended by more than 10 people.

Cooper’s office has said the newest order stating permitted services may “take place outdoors unless impossible” carries only a narrow exception, such as when religious activities dictate they occur indoors with more people.
