Today, a federal judge agreed and enjoined the National Park Service from revoking their permit based on displaying an 8647 flag. The reasoning was quite simple. The statute banning threatening speech applies only to “true threats” and no reasonable person could believe this flag displaying “8647” conveyed a true threat against Trump.
