Meh, Pence was very good at promoting Pence, but when he was asked about the crazy shit Trump says, he dodged and weaved.

He has the same problem all other Trump surrogates have. Trying to excuse the crazy crap that comes out of their candidate's mouth.

He debates like a geeky smart-ass feminine-type mail who never got picked for the team and nobody wanted around for the parties!! Totally unlikable. We remember them from grade school days........but the interruptions made the thing unwatchable.

Pence showed he was delusional about Trump, or doesn't mind lying the way Trump does. His denial about all the lies Trump has told showed him to be a typical partisan politician and already trying to distance himself from Trump. None of it will make much of a difference in how people vote this election, but his performance helped him gain support and attention for 2020.

You mean by repeating what Trump has actually said about Mexicans being rapists and john McCain not being a hero because he got captured? Or about Putin being a great leader? Or about not releasing his tax returns when he promised to?

Pence is also a guy who signs laws that has thrown women in jail for having miscarriages and some other really crazy stuff. I think Kaine was too cordial towards Pence in his enthusiasm to go after Trump.

Then again, Trump is going to be the one with is finger on the button if we have a collective brain fart in 33 days.
