And the reprehensible right attempts to defend the indefensible. This has been debunked. Do your homework.

.Since the error, sorry, era of Trump began it has at times been hard to maintain optimism about the state of the country and especially for there to be accountability for the egregious acts conducted against it. Things like Dear Leader launching an illegal plot to stay in power. Trying to coerce state officials to help him break the law. Writing an illegal hush money check in the Oval Office in the wake of the Access Hollywood revelations. Stealing, then concealing from authorities, hundreds of classified documents. Extorting a foreign leader for election help. Firing IG's who were investigating his admin. Waiving national security checks for his son-in-law and other staff members. Using unsecured cell phones. Lying pathologically about everything all the time. Firing Jim Comey to "relieve the pressure" from the "Russia thing." Siding with a murdering despot against our intelligence agencies. Stealing money from a charitable foundation. That's a short list of Trump's offenses that have gone largely or wholly unpunished.
But, from all indications, there is a better than even chance Individual 1 will be indicted on multiple charges in the near future in multiple jurisdictions. If that weren't encouraging enough, the most popular right wing media outlet, the one responsible for The Following's belief in hundreds of lies and misinformation, has a better than even chance of losing the defamation suit filed against it by Dominion.
I think it's important for the sake of maintaining faith in our democracy that the people see bad actors being held accountable for bad actions. Actions that have done, in some instances, irreparable harm to the nation.

Divine intervention being about the best chance of getting off the hook.Well, that's just wrong, because God.
What's even more encouraging, Biden is at odds with a lot of democrats, and Harris is too incompetent to win the nomination.
