Lawless party

Texas has taken in 8 million immigrants.
BS.

There have been 8.1 million encounters with migrants nationwide under Biden, but that number does not represent unique individuals. And not all who were stopped were allowed to stay in the U.S.

There have been 3.6 million removals, returns and expulsions under Biden’s administration. This data also represents events, not people.

Haha, you are nuts.
Then it should be easy for you to cite the statute that closed the borders.

Texas was the nation’s second-largest importing state behind California, bringing in nearly $294.9 billion in goods.

Can't do that if the borders are closed.

U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of President Joe Biden by declaring that Texas went outside its jurisdiction by erecting makeshift concertina wire fences along the Rio Grande section of the U.S.-Mexico border, effectively preventing the U.S. border patrol from doing their job. Texas has continued building new wire barriers since that ruling.

At least 25 Republican governors have declared their support for Abbott, including Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, and Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon.

So there we have it - Republicans who previously called themselves the party of Law and Order...have now degenerated to supporting refusing SCOTUS court orders to score political points with their rabid base.

I guess that goes hand in hand with 2/3s of Republicans being behind putting into White House a twice impeached fraudster indicted on 90+ criminal charges.
The Supreme Court also ruled in Heller, McDonald and Bruen that the States and Locals could not restrict the right to keep and bear arms to the degree that they had been doing. However, states like New York, Washington, Illinois and California have completely ignored the rulings.

If you are so concerned about the states ignoring the Supreme Court ruling are you also pissed at the Communist states that have completely ignored SCOTUS in regards to the right to keep and bear arms or is that "different"?

SCOTUS has been consistent and clear that enforcing the border is the pre-eminent Federal domain.

States do not have the right to over-ride the Federal government on this.

They OF COURSE have other rights.
The SC just ruled that the fox should be put in charge of guarding the henhouse.

Don't know what that means.

SC is the final say on constitutional desputes of Federal and State powers.

If you say that is not the case then whats the next stop? States having their own interpretations of law in direct contradiction of the Federal ones?
