How much does one think the teachings of Jesus have importance in a christians life? How much would his teachers think they are important as well?
In the sermon on the mount Jesus gave to all free, a wonderous promise if they applied this one teaching. It is so important to apply this teaching that Jesus said it must be FIRST in ones life.
So then would not a real teacher that has Jesus make sure it is planted deeply into every single flock members heart? I say 100% for sure. That means EVERY real follower knows it by heart allready. It is
Matthew 6:33-- Therefore, keep on seeking-FIRST the kingdom and his-(YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these other things will be added.( sustenance, covering, spirituality)
Jesus promised in Matthew 6 that his Father-YHWH(Jehovah)would supply all 3 of those things if needed. He explained it as how well the Lillys are dressed, but humans are so much more important, And how the birds do not toil, yet are fed daily, but how much more important humans are to his Father. A single teaching applied and the millions of children that have starved to death like in Africa over the years, never would have died like that, there are only 2 scenarios possible of why they did starve to death. Either the teachers failed Jesus by not teaching it, or the parents were taught incorrectly and failed.
Its a guarantee every real follower on this earth knows it by heart. If your teachers have failed to teach you this and you do not know it by heart, then they are these teachers( 2Corinthians 11:12-15)-RUN FROM THEM. Because if Jesus said-FIRST it is ultra important.
The Kingdom of God, The Kingdom of Christ, the church that Christ established are all one and the same.
Read the scriptures, "The time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel (the truth) -- Mark 1:14-15. Further, "Assuredly, I say to you that they are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God COME WITH POWER." -- Mark 9:1 Some standing there as Jesus was speaking in the 1st century would never taste death until they shall see the Kingdom come with power. Unless there are 2000 year old people walking the earth today, the Kingdom came in the 1st century. Or Jesus lied, God in the flesh failed to establish a kingdom that was planned by God before time began. God is a failure. And its all moot and meaningless.
But the scriptures confirm, Jesus did not fail on His promise, ".........(Jesus) has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love." -- Col. 1:13 The Apostle states that we have been translated into the Kingdom.
Next we find the words, "kingdom", "Israel" and "church" all refer to the same group of peoples..i.e., the saved within the kingdom, Christians, the church of Christ, the church of God or "spiritual Israel". Jesus predicted He would build HIS CHURCH and give Peter the keys to the Kingdom (Matt. 16:18-19). Clearly Jesus did not build one church and give Peter the keys to another kingdom. Paul the apostle tells us that members of the church are of faith, THE SONS OF ABRAHAM AND IF YOU ARE CHRIST'S THEN YOU ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM. (Gal. 3:7,29...6:16)
Paul said to the church at Rome, "You are not a Jew who is one "outwardly", nor is that circumcision which is outwardly; but he is a Jew who is one "inwardly". (Rom. 2:28-29).
Next, the scriptures inform us that Jesus has been sitting in reign on David's throne since 30AD, "spiritually". Peter the apostle explained that Jesus, "has gone into Heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him." -- 1 Peter 3:22
The kingdom of Christ, "God's Kingdom", the church would be a ".........dominion that is everlasting, which shall not pass away...........would never be destroyed (Daniel 7:13-14). Thus far........the kingdom after 2000 years had not been destroyed it has grown to encompasses over 1/3 of the world's total population.
The prophecy of Daneil was fulfilled at the ascension of the Christ (Acts 1:9). Jesus returned to Heaven where He was given rule over His kingdom. (Heb. 10:12).
When Jesus returns again......it will not be to sit on a physical throne on earth.......when Jesus returns, the final judgement is at hand, after death is conquered (as Hades shall give up its dead).......the kingdom is returned to the Father (1 Cor. 15:24-25)
Not clear enough? Peter declares with no ambiguity whatsoever, while Peter was speaking and addressing Jews from all over.......Jesus was already sitting on the Throne of David at the right hand of God in Heaven, "God has sworn an oath that to him (David) that of the fruit of his body (David's body), according to the flesh, He (God) would raise up the Christ to sit on his (David's) throne, he, foreseeing this, spoke of the resurrection of the Christ.....this Jesus God has raised up, which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted at the right hand of God....." -- Acts 2:30-33.
Paul stated the same thing (Eph. 1:20-22). Thus the Bible confirms over and over, Jesus has been sitting in reign of His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God, the church He built and gave the key's to Peter.........for over 2000 years now.
