I didn’t ask you to renounce him. Where in the world did you come up with THAT?

You mean to tell me that if a Jew tells a Christian to stop quoting the New Testament to her, that means she’s asking him to renounce his own faith? You DEMAND the Jew listen to what you have to say about Jesus, or else in effect she’s telling YOU to renounce him?

On the contrary, your quoting the NT to me is asking me to renounce my religion - or attempting to get me to do it. I say you believe whatever you want, and leave me to believe what I want.

I once had an Evangelical couple harass me for over a year. They would send me sermons their preacher gave that told how Jews are going to hell if they don’t welcome Jesus into their hearts. I told them to STOP sending me the sermons. Does that mean I told them to renounce Jesus?
