I find it interesting that for the “celebration” of the 250 anniversary of the US, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,has asked its members to fast. And specifically for religious freedom. You would think they would encourage celebration. There’s only a couple of accounts in the scriptures where fasting is tied to celebration. Most of the time is connected to humility, repentance, and Thanksgiving.
In addition, the LDS Church has also asked its members to support America250 which is the bipartisan congressional account rather than Freedom 250 which is Trumps account.
The 15 I believe is solid conservative, with two exceptions, but they are classic conservatives, and one of the GAs told me last year he did not think one of the apostles voted for Trump last time.
