Like I said, every one of them have their own private definition , His woke definition is lame and means nothing , his definition of socialism suggesting it is somehow Communism or something like that is a hoot considering there never has been a communist country and there never will be. . One thing we both agree on, is there isn't any socialism in this country, or at least almost impossible to find. And there never will be. I mean really, when was the last time someone, anyone came up to you and said , you know it would be a good idea if all businesses were owned and run by the government and the sales of their production should all be designated to that government. Never happened, never will."Woke" means conforming to the left's orthodoxy through strict adherence to their speech code.
"Socialism" in the context of Marxism is a step in the evolution to communism. Within the Zeitgeist today, the terms "socialism" and "communism" are often used to mean the same thing, to wit: a body politic in which private property ownership is abolished and the government is a command-control body. For the purpose of the discussion here, "socialism" should probably be understood to mean authoritarianism.
