I just thought about it.....While many served the USA (SAW, WW-1, WW-2, Korea, and Vietnam) but all of my family's fallen were in the Army of Northern Virginia.

Is South Korea still a sovereign country?

It kept the ChiComs in check, too. Too bad the general's hands were tied and they didn't let him wage real war, or the US could have all of Korea as an ally right now.
