Yeah, anyone with an opinion of an old grandma.
Bet you’re wonderful with grandkids looking at climate change…

If the students are out of control parents need to see that tooWe have a parent of a student who "elopes"...that is, runs off....at every opportunity. The parent insists that the child be taken outside every day, even though the teacher has explained that this is not safe, as there is a busy road near the school.
The parent says, "figure it out" to the teacher.
I'm here to tell you: if you saw via live cam what goes on in most classrooms, it wouldn't be the teacher behavior that would make you angry. It would be the behavior of the few kids who ruin the experience for everyone else....and the parents do nothing about it.
This is a MUCH bigger issue than the few (terrible) teachers in the nation
Stats on this?
I attended Catholic schools in the 1960s and early 70s and all the teachers were outstanding. I had a great experience. Generally speaking, the ones who have 'horror stories' had trouble following rules to begin with, and have since dropped out of the church. Rules can be exacting, granted. And some kids didn't have the home environment to withstand them.
Don't forget the one in Colorado too where the teacher got a teenage girl to live with a female teacher by claiming the teen was homeless. When the parent of the teen found out she was livid....but the school principal covered for the teacher!
I never thought that I'd see the day when teachers used the student body as their personal dating pool/harem.
If the students are out of control parents need to see that too
That quote illustrates why the educators are as much part of the problem as the children areThe parents of the disruptive kids would cry down the moon about it.
And we have more than established that YOU know nothing about any of it.That quote illustrates why the educators are as much part of the problem as the children are
The teachers are spineless
Students are not the most important thing in education
The educators, their job, and their future pension have priority
In many cases the teachers themselves tell us whats going on and why you are to blameAnd we have more than established that YOU know nothing about any of it.
Who? What?In many cases the teachers themselves tell us whats going on and why you are to blame
I wish I had a dollar for every time a teacher like SweetSue92 blamed the parents of disruptive children when the teachers are afraid to push backWho? What?
The parents of the disruptive kids would cry down the moon about it. "Student privacy" and privacy laws. But if there's one thing about you, it's that you're gonna get hold of a bone and never let it go no matter what anyone says, even people who actually know what they're talking about
Teachers like SweetSue92 and Unkotare always blame someone else for their lack of performance.I wish I had a dollar for every time a teacher like SweetSue92 blamed the parents of disruptive children when the teachers are afraid to push back
Yes, thats something I give the chinese credit forTeachers like SweetSue92 and Unkotare always blame someone else for their lack of performance.
They think 20% of high school graduates not being able to read is an accomplishments.
Meanwhile, the Chinese kids are doing Trig in grammar school.
.Simple enough solution. Declare in-classroom cameras a safety measure, and they have nothing to talk about.
Seems to me the people who don't want cameras in the classrooms are the teachers.
Empty post from an empty person..
The leftist teachers, who have something to hide.

Of course they are....
Students are not the most important thing in education
