Trump is the latest U.S. leader to attempt to bring Greenland and its population of over 50,000 people among its territories. Greenland’s location is a concern for Russian naval activity. The Greenland-Iceland-United Kingdom gap could prove to be an obstacle for any possible offenses.

If the United States were to get poorer, would you accept it? If of course you are an American. A 25% reduction in living standards would be acceptable as an example.
