I always ask why don't people shoot them in the legs. I bet everyone is going to say he's a horrible shot and he should have shot to kill.

The guy got probation? LOL. Did you see how rich the place he was visiting is? His uncle must be rich.

Shooting in the legs doesnt stop the attack. You aim for center mass and fire multiple shots and keep shooting until he goes down. If body armor is used aim for the head just above the nose or the pelvis.
Shooting witha pistol under pressure isnt acurate at distances over 3 yards.
