The only chance a person who is not wealthy to begin with has is a college degree. Lowering the quality of education is only going to create a lower educated workforce and that means lower wages. If that is the case, then I am for those people continuing to receive gov't assistance. Education is key. Imagine everyone with a college degree and nobody settling for lower wage jobs. Employers not being able to fill them. A dream scenario. Will never happen though as some people work for low wages and are thankful for them... they are dupes.
