Oh... it wasn't just Germans. East Coast US Progressives (fascists) thought the same thing.
The US Left LOVED Hitler.
There has been numerous essays and even books on that. I have heard some on the left say that Hitler had the right idea but could have gone about it a different way. To this day, many leftwing nut jobs hate Jews and will even support radical Muslims because of it.
Comparing Walker to Hitler is insane, but the left is good at twisting things that way. Walker has helped Wisconsin a great deal and things are better for most. Because unions aren't happy, the left has joined them in bashing Walker over his policies. Of course, any Republican is bashed, even when the policies work just great.
Well the Ideological Left is a consequence of a species of islamic reasoning that came along in the early part of the 12th century. Marxism rests upon the suspension of the recognition of cause and effect.
And that kinship is seen today in the alliances to which you refer... which orbit largely around the hatred of Jews which has for so long drawn in the twisted revolutionaries, of the self loathing Jew.
There of course is no potential similarities between Walker and Histler. Walker is an American, who advances policy which rest in American principle. Which can only result in prosperity, happiness and success for all who practice such.
Where Histler was a socialist and like all Leftists, he was evil to his core, advancing socialist policy, restricting the means for people to exercise their rights, lowering their initiative, reducing their creativity, limiting their productive means... and of course, part and parcel of that rationale is the need to blame the discontent upon a third party, otherwise people tend to run ya out of town... and that can be SO hard on the 'LEGACY'.
SO ... it as the policy of stringent control becomes more restrictive, the need for greater control comes along very quickly and it escalates even quicker.
Walker on the other hand endured and continues to endure intense opposition by irrational individuals which comprise a tiny, insignificant minority, but who demand to considered a massive majority.
And the extent of Walkers response was to repeatedly defeat them in landslide electoral victories.
And let's be honest, there's nothing fascist about THAT.
