And they successfully hacked the RNC servers. The Russians just didn't feel like releasing that hacked info.

No they didn't. They got into some inactive accounts, and there were some State party GOP officials' emails that were published on DCLeaks, but the RNC server was never breached.

No evidence was ever shown the the RNC server was breached, other than some defunct accounts and state-level officials.
