The reality is, there is no systemic racism in this country. That's why immigrant blacks, and other minorities, consistently come here, and are successful.

If there was any real systemic racism in this country, that prevented minorities from succeeding, there would not be masses of them trying to get into this country. Again, Forest Gump could figure out that people wouldn't try to get into a country so they could be discriminated against, and held in poverty.

So given there is no race issue to be fixed..... thus we can't fix this.

There is no other solution to problems that only exist in people's mental ideology.

There are no laws against blacks, that prevent them from getting jobs, or owning property, or stop them from opening businesses or anything else.... which again is why immigrant blacks come here and open businesses all the time, and succeed.

If anything, there are laws that benefit blacks, at the expense of other races, and that is the only racism I know of.

As for what do we do about it... we don't do anything about it. There is nothing we can do about it.

In fact, it was tiny tiny fraction of people who had slaves. Remember most of the people in the US, lived in the free-states. I think in 1850, there were something roughly like 13 Million in free states, while only 9 Million people in the slave states, and that included the 3 Million slaves. So 6 million free Americans in slave states.

And then only about 25% of those, owned slaves. So less than 1.5 Million of 20 million free people, had slaves.

Now how are you going to figure out which white people you are going to get reparations from?

Oh by the way..... 'white' is also a problem. Because black people had slaves in the slaves states too. In fact, the first slave owner in America.... was a black man.

Are you going to demand reparations from blacks as well? By the way, people act shocked when I point that out. I am not sure how they think the slave trade worked, as if a boat merchant, just randomly wanders around Africa looking for people to grab and drag off. Great way to get yourself killed.

Throughout all of Africa, they had slaves. For thousands of years they had slaves.

Merchants purchased people who were slaves to begin with. They didn't become slaves when Europeans showed up. They were slaves before there was ever a boat at the shore with rum and spices to trade. Every single slave that came to this land, started off as being owned by a black slave masters, and were sold to a Europeans.

So how are you going to get reparations from that? You going to fly over to the Ivory Coast, and start demanding money? Good luck.

BLM has a legitimate cause in protesting police brutality. That said, there are those who are out to cause destruction who undermine the group. The ones who castigate the movement only see the criminals while the ones who vehemently support the movement only see legitimate protestors.

Bottom line is that we have bad cops who are a disgrace to the shield while the clear majority are good people.

Great! So... NOW what? How do we go forward with the overall race issue in this country? We have accusations of police brutality and accusations of blatant white racism. How do we move forward? There are many millions of Americans who have or want nothing to do with BLM the organization, but agree with the basic premise that white racism still exists, particularly from the Right.
