I live 3 minutes from my assigned polling place. Last election, Kentucky's Democratic governor shut down all but two polling places in my county. I had to drive 20 minutes to vote, and 20 minutes back home. And it was crowded, of course, since half the county was voting there.they limit polling place hours, so there are long waiting times to vote, as much as 10 hours.
And then limiting voting by mail, and robocalls spreading conspiracies about voting by mail.
And then gerrymandering that splits minority communities in a way that makes it impossible for their votes to matter.
And then voter purges that remove registrations of legitimate voters.
Elections should be a contest of ideas, not a race to disenfranchise minority voters
