Hello everybody,

I am Quentin, I am French blogger living in Venice in Italy and I am a huge fan of the USA.

I would like to know how it works for European people to go and settle down in the US? How does it work to get a Visa?
My project for next year is to live in California.

Thank you very much in advance,
Quentin

Its a lot easier just to fly to Mexico and cross the open land border to make it to America. President Biden recently ordered barrels that were placed by the governor in Arizona removed to help facilitate migration.

If you need help in crossing, there are any number of coyotes that can assist.

Los Angeles is a tremendous choice, The weather is mild and they permit people to camp on their city's sidewalks.

Everybody with half a brain is leaving California but you'd like to purposely move there?
CA is already much like Europe- run by idiot socialists who are destroying a once great state.

If you want a real "American" experience, consider one of the free states that haven't been overrun by progbots.
Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, most of the middle of the country will give you a much better experience away from the racism, delusions & insanity infesting the Dem controlled areas

Ignore this idiot. You won't get answers here, because most of these people here rarely leave the state they were born in and have never left the country. You will need to get a work visa or a tourist visa, you can start on a tourist visa and apply for a work visa if you don't have a job lined up.

Pardon.

I travel to different states all the time. I was born in Ohio and live in Pennsylvania. I go back to my home state on a regular basis and was just in West Virginia last week.

California has great weather, but they have high tax rates, a high poverty rate and a dystopian culture.
You should go to the US immigration website for information on how to immigrate.
If I were going to immigrate to America, I would choose a small city with a population of about 100,000 that has a low crime rate.

If he chooses to immigrate to some bumfuck place like you suggest, he'll be surrounded by people like YOU.

That's why he wants California.

Why do you want to contribute to killing the planet by moving to a different country?

so you want him to be surrounded with people like you?.....you ever lived in california to tell him this is the place to go?...

Its really up to the OP here. If he wants to be surrounded by people who want to sodomize him, San Francisco is the place for the"San Francisco Treat" as well as "California Love"

First piece of advice: Don't go to California.

California used to be great. I moved there in 1981 and, with the exception of a five year stint while I was stationed in South Carolina, I was in California for over 30 years. It's one of the most expensive places in the United States to live, though. For instance, right now a gallon of regular unleaded gas will run you in the neighborhood of $5.70, as opposed to, say, $3.30 in Charleston, South Carolina.

There's not a lot left there to like.

Unfortunately, I can't speak to what it would take for you to come here permanently. What I would suggest, though, is that you look at other areas to where you could potentially move. I've driven throughout this country more than most, and can attest to the fact that are many amazing places here you could call home...

You can bypass all that visa jargon and just come up through the southern border.
Change your name to Roberto Juan Rodriguez Salazar Esposito. You can get a free
ride to the state of your choice along with all the perks, plus an education and healthcare. :smoke:
