End Times Prophecy

Yes. They think God confounded the Romans and they crucified Judas. They believe Jesus was too pure to die such a cruel and humiliating death.
Muslims don't have information on who was crucified instead of Jesus (peace be upon him). Muslims simply believe what the Quran says and that is that Jesus (peace be upon him) was not crucified.

Like the Islam saying Jesus wasn't the Christ ,just a nice man
Muslims do believe Jesus is a messiah (christ) and they believe he is a prophet of Allah and a messenger, that he was raised to heaven and will return to earth one day and establish Islam as the only religion.

So our beliefs are far from that "he was just a nice man".

the three desert religions are immanently delusional -

" your" scriptures - straight from the inferno ... who would ever read such a book.

your "actual content of the Holy Scriptures" only prove further the corruption the 1st century events were meant to mend only to fail by the crucifixion of their message, liberation theology, self determination than the religion of servitude the crucifiers surreptitiously wrote in the late 4th century - christian bible.
Sounds like you are quoting from some off the wall translation of someone's OPINION, such as the living Bible for Morons. Again, you have presented nothing from the canon of the Holy Bible, its just bigotry and hatred based upon your personal hate of God.

FYI: To hate something you must believe that it exists. That's why atheism is in itself nothing but a delusional oxymoronic disorder of the mind based upon the common trait of all atheists..........Narcism.

The correct passage you were looking for reads as such, "And God blessed them (strange is it not, you speak of 3 desert religions and the very passage you decided to plagiarise speaks of Eden.......a lush land filled with fruits, plants, wildlife etc. :disbelief:), and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it (strange that you call this passage lies, but the proof is the fact that man has SUBDUED the earth......to include having over 1/3rd the worlds population professing to be Christians)...................

Your Idea of refuting something, by presenting nothing but confirming information of that which you wish to refute is strange indeed. The fact as demonstrated by Science and Archaeology is confusing to me..........All of Civilization has its roots documented to have began in these same desert regions that you are attempting to dismiss as some type of religious simpletons.

But that's what happens when you attempt to engage in battle with the Holy Spirit of God while carrying nothing around but an empty chamber.

I am giving you my blessing. Have a lot of children and grandchildren, so people will live everywhere on this earth. 2 All animals, birds, reptiles, and fish will be afraid of you. - - I have placed them under your control, 3 and I have given them to you for food. - - From now on, you may eat them, as well as the green plants that you have always eaten.

" your" scriptures - straight from the inferno ... who would ever read such a book.

the quote is from your c bible -

The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.
The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.
And the fear of you and the trembling of you will be on every animal of the Earth, and upon every bird of Heaven, and upon everything that crawls the Earth and all fish of the sea; they are given up into your hands.
......................

but the proof is the fact that man has SUBDUED the earth ...

believing a creator meant for you to subdue - Earth - is a vapid excuse for what christianity, the desert religions are responsible for:

All the Muslims I know think Judas was crucified. I think it appeals to their sense of justice. I have no experience with Muslims in the US.

That's pretty broad... Inclusive of all who submit to the God of Abraham. .

I'm talking about the Islamic doctrine. It comes from the Quran and the hadith and it says nowhere that it was Judas. It could have been, but we aren't allowed to make such guesses and it ultimately makes no difference.

I think Babylon had more than one religion.
Doesn't answer the question.

The ideal of Babylon was of global conformity,
how is that different from Islam's goal to be the only religion?

I'm not aware of any other religion that teaches that.
As strange as Islam seems to Christians, isl

Babylon gave us the code of Hammurabi. Islam teaches that the creator is the God of all and there have been many messengers.

The quote is not from any canonized Bible, the content, context and subject matter are clearly "paraphrased" works of someone's personal interpretation (which is forbidden in the first place, as no scripture is of any private interpretation, they interpret themselves -- 2 Peter 1:19-20. As was demonstrated.

Yet you continue to argue in ever widening circles and end up simply contradicting your own argument when the circle is complete.
Your false premises, i.e., your logical fallacies. You claim the Bible had its origins in the desert regions when the actual content of the canon declares the origins as beginning in a lush Garden created by God (Eden). Next you claim the scriptures that originated from these desert regions are false........yet the history actual of the world around you demonstrates their truth. Man has all but "subdued" the planet earth with over 1/3 of the worlds population being Christian. And lastly you argue that the desert regions are nothing but simpletons to make up such religion, when in reality the World owes its entire civilization to the very same region of the world.

Keep up the good work.........I simply have to point out your logical fallacies. :smoochEE:

Maybe, but my question is about the earlier foundation of Babylon,
the 'Tower of Babel' - the archetype of global conformity.

Islam also teaches that an illiterate from 7th century,
was the best and last of messengers, all before
are perceived as Muslims and Islam as
the "original and last religion".

How is this different from
the Tower of Babel?

The tower of babel is a story about the collapse of a civilization and literacy. They still have watchtowers and ziggurats all over the middle east. The original religion is the worship of God and the submission to the will of God. .. call it whatever you like.

Tower of Babel is an archetype of human failure,
when a single civilization attempts to enforce global conformity.

If you think the tower of Babel was a story of collapse and illiteracy,
isn't it ironic to use that to argue Islam is any different from Babel,
yet it reveres a 7th-century illiterate man, while Arabs
remain the largest illiterate group on earth?

Religions only appeared after prophecy stopped.
Islam was born a religion, that categorically
denies any prophecy in the future...

So what's the difference
between the Tower of Babel
and Islam's goal of universal conformity?

The story of the tower of babel is a myth.

English Standard Version
The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.

they are all from one c bible or another, the one above and the previous other quotes - in your previous post you cut short your dialogue for the passage, how surprising -

you've proven anything but truthful in the past.

And lastly you argue that the desert regions are nothing but simpletons to make up such religion, when in reality the World owes its entire civilization to the very same region of the world.

an example ^ - the 4th century c bible is written by the crucifiers is the correct conclusion - the c bible is a composite of forgeries and fallacies deliberately written to obscure the true events of the 1st century liberation theology, self determination including the prescribed religion of antiquity that resolves this thread ... likewise obscured by the disingenuous o p in reference to the religions authenticity.

The tower of babel is a story about the collapse of a civilization and literacy. They still have watchtowers and ziggurats all over the middle east. The original religion is the worship of God and the submission to the will of God. .. call it whatever you like.
The event described in the Holy Scriptures actually has nothing to do with the building of a tower, a tower where the people were not actually attempting to reach heaven but rather a project to keep the people together, gathered in one place (it was nothing but a sort of monument to themselves, to make people take notice as they worshiped themselves instead of obeying God)......this was against God's command to spread across the earth to populate the earth and "subdue" it. (Genesis 1:28)

The entire population of the earth spoke one language, as would be logical since all were directly descended from Adam and Eve, then in the years after the flood everyone descended from Noah's family. Since the record is recorded in Hebrew that was the one universal language during that time period.

The bible records the event took place during the days of "Peleg" (the son of Eber -- Luke 3:35), that makes the event at Babel about 100 years after the flood. The people there had developed klin-fired brick and used a type of asphalt made from tar as mortar. The Bible says they were working on a tower, but that is not what angered God, at that time there were only about 30000 (if you extrapolate using Biblical figures, if each child of Noah had 8 children...etc., ) people in the entire known world and they were not doing as commanded.........populating and subduing the earth. They were all gathered in one place continually working on brick and mortar projects to honor themselves as great builders. This further angered God (thou shall worship no graven image.....)

God determined the cause for this rebellion was the fact that everyone spoke one language. God decided that a variety of languages would confuse the people and make them separate thus spreading outward, staying with those who spoke their own language. Logic dictates that as being truthful......as determined by the many different types of cultures and skin colors, body features etc. now seen around the world, each language became a different culture determined by their surrounding and what it took to adapt to those natural surroundings.

The bible goes on concerning the scattering of the peoples. Shem's record ends in Genesis 11:10. The account is then picked up by Terah (Genesis 11:27) Terah's record simply presents a chronological genealogy record of how many generations had passed since Noah and the flood event.
