I'm fed up (and wondering if Jesus is also, probably) with this judging BS. A Christian absolutely HAS to judge btwn right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral. If someone does something bad but you don't want to "judge" and just let it goI didn't say I couldn't say what a Christian is. I said it isn't given to me to say whether another person is a 'real Christian' or not. I do know that Jesus had a lot to say about judging, accusing, maligning others. I take seriously the admonition to judge not. I think Jesus took that one seriously. Matthew 7:5
And he cautioned us to not believe we are better than anybody else.

Come on. Spill the beans.Let's just say it isn't like the often-hostile and un-Christian net forums
You're inventing your own excuses for being a backslider. There can only be one true interpretation of the bibles.
That one interpretation must vary according to which bible is the true word of the god.
jesus must have foreseen the problem that would arise when Darwinian evolution could no longer be swept under the rug!Jesus was very big on common sense and pretty much rejected legalistic authoritarianism when it came to one's relationship with God.
Mark 12:
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[f] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[g] There is no commandment greater than these.”
32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.
I am always concerned about my sins. I try not to be judgmental about your judgmentalism.jesus must have foreseen the problem that would arise when Darwinian evolution could no longer be swept under the rug!
The Catholic church chose to accept it in whole and the rest of Christians are trying to sweep away just part of the truth.
Your personal amount of backsliding is your concern only.
"don't call yourself a republican if you do not follow trump's orders" has assured democratic victory for a generation. millions of "rinos" will not vote for that internet mouth breather. ever.Gatekeeper types are always so cringy. "Don't call yourself a blah blah blah if you yada yada yada." As if this dude is the authority and not just some mouth breather on the internet.
Really?Jesus was very big on common sense and pretty much rejected legalistic authoritarianism when it came to one's relationship with God.
And what does following Jesus being difficult have to do with him being big on common sense and not that much on legalism? He warned us following him would be difficult--Luke 9:57-58Really?
Following Jesus is often a losing proposition from the world POV. People often just write you off as nuts if you are "too into Jesus"
If we followed common sense all the time, no way would we choose to follow Jesus. Yes, He is the author of all "sense".. the author of all that is logical
But there is the way Jesus looks at logic and there is the way the world looks at it.. 2 very different things
for one thing, Legalism, like all other (sometimes odd-sounding) terms need to beAnd what does following Jesus being difficult have to do with him being big on common sense and not that much on legalism? He warned us following him would be difficult--Luke 9:57-58
a big AMEN to that.A Christian defines himself as a Christian.
We can't go around telling people they're not really Christian.
Read the story of St (Benedict Joseph is his name, I believe, last name: LaBreAnd what does following Jesus being difficult have to do with him being big on common sense and not that much on legalism? He warned us following him would be difficult--Luke 9:57-58
IF YOU FOLLOW THE TEACHING OF THE RCC YOU ARE DEF NOT SAVED- SEE CHART A Summary Chart of the differences between Biblical Truth and Catholicism by Richard Bennetta big AMEN to that.
As much as I have learned about religious spiritual matters in the last couple decades, no way would I ever proclaim that some person or group is unsaved, implying they are hopeless! That is a textbook definition of ARROGANT.
People who don't even begin to study Catholicism (and there is much to study since it has been around since the time of the 12 and really, longer) think they are entitled to pronounce eternal judgments on all those who call themselves Catholic. Strangely, though.. I don't see them saying that about politicians like pelosi and biden who really ARE anti-Christ.. fake Catholics.
