It was the Jews that put Jesus up on charges to the Romans. It was the Romans that crucified Jesus.

But it was Jesus that intended to die on the cross.

Some christians say that you can't go to heaven if you commit suicide.

According to the utterly implausible story that appears in the
---CONSTANTINE edited "New Testament". Constantine
chose Christianity as the state religion useful in
UNITING HIS BARBARIC ROMAN EMPIRE------the Agenda of the ROMAN EMPIRE ----was vast empire subservient and
tributary to ROME------Jews were vehement in objection to that demand-----largely on the basis of RELIGION

The Romans executed Jesus for the same reason they'd execute anyone by crucifixion --- being a political threat to the State. That's really all there is to it. It would not have been possible to threaten the hegemony of the Jewish State, since that did not exist; it was Rome who was in charge.

I agree with the OP, the elite Jews in cahoots with Rome brought Jesus to Rome to have him put to death is what scripture says, and since Rome apparently let one prisoner go, the jews picked the zealot rebel or ? sicarii, Jesus Barabbas and he was set free.
The jews at this time could not inflict the death penalty, so Rome had to do it. He chose to be and go peacefully to his death, and not one of his apostles came to his aid, they scattered , Peter denied him 3 times.
as per the bible. So he did not commit suicide.

He was causing disturbances and trashed the court yard of the temple during Passover.

He was a threat during a time of high tension during Passover when the city had over a million people there.

Romans crucified hundreds of thousands for far less.

No where in the Bible does it say that if you commit suicide, you can't go tot heaven. That is Catholic dogma.
No it is not. We never presume who is in heaven or hell or purgatory. Its not a dogma of the RCC.

But hey you go by the Bible, and it says, a sin against the HS will not be forgiven, so if the person is a Christian , reborn, I guess it would be hell for him right, since they killed their HS.

The sin you are referring to is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. The example of that is, knowing Christ could work miracles through the Holy Spirit, the Pharisees determined that his power was coming from Satan, and not the Holy Spirit of God. That is the unforgivable sin.
You can't kill a spirit. They are eternal.
There is no such thing as purgatory. It is not Biblical. The Catholics finally got rid of that dogma, along with not eating meat on Fri.

Lets not forget a jewish king and priest:

Josephus reports that Jannaeus brought 800 Pharisee rebels to Jerusalem and had them crucified, and had the throats of the rebel's wives and children cut before their eyes as Jannaeus ate with his concubines

Its murder, so you believe it. Does it not say in the bible to commit murder is a sin punishable by death.

No it was never a dogma or doctrine, who do you think gave you that bible, it didn't write itself. Protestants were lost for what 1200 years, there was no bibles in English and lay people did not have them. You need to thank the RCC for giving it to you. Heck even most Priests could not read the bible in 1200AD, and most lay people couldn't even read. Everything was oral , and the RCC and EO church taught Christian tradition , not the bible.

And no, the first Christians were not Protestants.

I guess suicide by centurion was the biblical times suicide by cop

Purgatory: Info on it from the jewish perspective.

I don't know what point you are trying to make. You are all over the place. Thou shat not kill is also read as thou shall not murder.
You are referring to a Mosaic Law, given to a specific people for a specific time. We are not under the Law, but under grace. We are forgiven. Just as the apple of God's eye, King David was forgiven for murder. We are forgiven WHILE in the act of sinning. That is how much we are loved.

It is absolutely Catholic dogma. The Catholics used replacement theology and because of it had to come up with an all new Catholic version of the Bible. If you have one. Toss it.

The first Christians were Jews. Nowhere have I used the word Protestant. You seem to be hung up on that. The disciples were Jews, except for Luke. They started a movement called the Way. There were no Christian "traditions". They would meet in homes that put a candle in the window to let them know it was safe.
The Bible was put together at Nicene, and Catholics were not allowed to have one. They sat in churches listening to priests go on and on in Latin and had no idea what he was saying. Statues were made to help the Catholics grasp what was being said.
Which led to the worship of statues of Mary. And praying to Mary. <Dogma. Not Biblical. Christ said to pray to the Father through Him, not his mother.
Catholics included Mary in that prayer. Essentially, Catholics pray to a creation, along with the Creator.
Here is a tip. If you want answer to prayer, pray to the one capable of answering that prayer, not someone's mother. Christ never prayed to Mary.

Your are entitled to your belief, it matters not to me, but when you say something wrong about the RCC, I will say something. If I believe in an afterlife , I also believe in a purgatory. I do not believe that Christ's blood bore our sins , yesterday , today and tomorrow. We will atone and pay for our own behaviors , if there is an afterlife, that is my belief and the belief of most RC's I know. If you don't believe in purgatory that is fine, but RC's , some Rabbis and most other religions do and did. Many also believe in reincarnation, they did in the NT, and some Rabbis do today. No one knows what happens after death of the body, we can only speculate. Religions change over the years, even the RC doctrines.

Do you know the difference between Doctrine and Dogma? If you do not use the NABRE 2011 toss yours

The first Christians were Jews.
According to the bible so was jesus, that does not make it so.

Nowhere have I used the word Protestant. You seem to be hung up on that. The disciples were Jews, except for Luke.

Oh really , what was Luke? Who wrote the other gospels? Who was Paul, a roman citizen, a Pharisee, kind of a lot like Josephus. Jesus didn't consider himself as a jew like other jews did he, that's right he came from Galilee in the Bible, jews no matter what came from Judea, and even non jews were called jews if they came from judea.

They started a movement called the Way. There were no Christian "traditions". They would meet in homes that put a candle in the window to let them know it was safe.

The Catholics were not allowed to have a bible, really, even though Emperor Constantine called the meeting. You right it was not a bound book then, and most could not read, but there were also no Protestants at the time either. The Way became the RCC and EO. Rome was in charge of even the EO or Asia Minor churches, that is why in the Book of Rev, they are sent a letter telling to shape up. (they didn't have electric or copy machines back then, everything wrote by hand, and took time, so only the Priests were lucky to learn orally and perhaps get a copy of something to preach.

They sat in churches listening to priests go on and on in Latin and had no idea what he was saying. Statues were made to help the Catholics grasp what was being said.

where did this come from.

Which led to the worship of statues of Mary. And praying to Mary. <Dogma. Not Biblical. Christ said to pray to the Father through Him, not his mother.

Mary is an intercessor and so are the Saints. Its doctrine, not dogma.

Catholics included Mary in that prayer.
Hail Mary and the Rosary, which goes through the station of the cross.

Essentially, Catholics pray to a creation, along with the Creator.
No RC pray to God the Father.
Here is a tip. If you want answer to prayer, pray to the one capable of answering that prayer, not someone's mother. Christ never prayed to Mary.

Heres a tip, learn about RC, as you know nothing about it. The RCC and EO , were the original churches, like it or not, and they gave you the bible , like it or not., actually Rome.
Really, wow, no need for hell then. heck do whatever you want. Man I would not want to belong to your church.

Thee Roman Catholic Church has effectively buried the concept of limbo, the place where centuries of tradition and teaching held that babies who die without baptism went.

In a long-awaited document, the Church's International Theological Commission said limbo reflected an "unduly restrictive view of salvation".

The 41-page document was published on Friday by Origins, the documentary service of the U.S.-based Catholic News Service, which is part of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Pen you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but none of what you just posted is Biblical.
Look what you have to purge from the Bible to get to where you are:
1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive ...
Romans 6:10
Verse 10 ... For when he died, he died once and for all as far as sin is concerned. ... For he that is dead died unto sin once, and he that lives, lives unto God. ... old man, because derived from our first father Adam, is crucified with Christ, in every ...
Hebrews 10:10
By God's will we have been sanctified once and for all through the sacrifice of the body of ... It is through that divine will that we have been set free from sin, through the offering of Jesus Christ as our sacrifice once for all.
Hebrews 9:28
.. so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

If you have to work to get to heaven you have made God a liar:

Ephesians 2:8
... For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ... saves is the free, undeserved goodness and favour of God; and he saves, not by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus.

If you are correct, and we have to work our way to Heaven then Christ died in vain.

And what is God going to judge if you belong to Christ ? Do you intend to stand in Heaven and hope that you qualify???
Because God does not remember your sin. And would not judge 2 people for the same sin, you AND Christ. That is not just and God is 100% just.
What do you do with this?

Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
Hebrews 10:14–18 says, “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

Pen, what sins are you anxious for God to judge you on? Because:

Romans8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God'

your works are not required. They get in the way of Christ's work.

1)there was no Jesus, only the figures used to make up his image along with plagiarised mythologies.
2)none of the christ figures comitted suicide, 2 were revolters killed for their opposition to Rome. 1 for forbidden sorcery scams liken to Benny Hinn being charged in his old state of residence before he moved out of the state.
3)the dual blame shows the cpnfusion when compiling figures accts. 1-sentenced by Rome the other by a small elect of his peers.

OMG I had forgotten how confused Catholics actually are!
Jesus Christ was a Rabbi. He fulfilled the Mosiac Laws. He taught in the Temple! He was the 14th ggrandson of King David. His Jewish genealogy is in the Bible! See what happens when you use replacement theology? You and the church take center stage instead of Christ.
What is it that you think you can add to Christ's removal of your sins? Was He so inadequate at removing sin that He needs your help?
You work, God rests. You rest, God works. Get out of his way.

And like it or not, the churches that will accompany Christ in the Temple are mentioned in Revelation by Christ, and the RRC is not among them.

Exodus shows us a God who forgave and provided for WHILE the Jews were in the act of sinning, all the way to Mt. Sinai.

And if you have no regard for Christ, then sin on. Keep him up on that cross, paying for your sins as long as you want. But if you love Him and are thankful for His shed blood, this happens:

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

You had better hope there is. All nations are about to come against you. Christ is the only thing that will stand between you and complete annihilation. You'll recognize Him this time..
