Thanks to Donald Trump's attacks in 2018 on the wildly popular Obamacare, the Democrats were able to take over the House of Representatives in a landslide.

Thanks to Donald Trump's endorsement of two absolutely unqualified candidates in Georgia in 2020, the Democrats were able to take over the United States Senate.

And with headwinds starting to shift, with Trump's endorsement of highly unqualified, no nothing candidates, the media projected Republican landslide in November may turn out to be a Democrat win, not only holding the House, but adding to their margin in the Senate.

As he demonstrated with his landslide defeat in 2020, Trump may be the best thing to happen to Democrats. What a hoot if he loses in November and has to hide out for a while in his bunker.

The problem is that (largely because of the two-party, lesser-of-two-evils nonsense) Dems are convinced that they need do nothing besides point out how bad Trump is. And that profoundly misses the point.

People already know how bad Trump is. Half of them don't care. Half of them are so fed up with the "we-know-betterism" of the Dems that they're willing to vote for an unhinged, TV ass-clown instead. The reason Dems will lose in the fall is because they simply won't acknowledge that people aren't buying what they're selling.

I think that's a pretty accurate read on it for now at least.
But the political climate is changing rapidly with the revealing of the evidence found in the raid of Trump's home.

It could turn out to be a nothing-burger but it could accomplish the goal of the FBI/DOJ to discredit and take him down.

These agencies aren't just upholding the law anymore, they're scheming to save America's democracy. They won't rule out any foulplay that could save their country.

However, their endgame is more applicable to damaging Trump on his 2024 prospects and so it's less critical than the leadup to the 24 election. But keeping in mind that damaging Trump before the 2022 election will be an important step in accomplishing their goal.

In other words, not damaging Trump now, could make it impossible to destroy him later if the Dems come anywhere near being wiped out.
