The talking heads that follow AOC's speech are correct. Old School Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Adam Schiff must be replaced by Democrats who understand the experience of people of color in the United States, who have experienced the discrimination they face, and therefore can understand the experience of other marginalized people, such as girl athletes who were misgendered at birth, and people who came to the U.S. without the (largely white) privilege of documentation.

I fear that if the Democrats keep this up, keep not only going in this direction, but proudly stating that they will not moderate their positions in the slightest, the next election may be a landslide in which, they take the House and Senate in great enough numbers to finally have a successful impeachments of Donald Trump and those he has lined up to take over.

The only reason why these offices are held is few voters bother to vote. It's who has the biggest family and the most friends. AOC has no national constituency.
