Trump approval plummets to levels seen in midterm wipeout

Because you're sure not going to credit Trump. Guaranteed.

Guaranteed by what? Silly stupidity floating around in your know nothing head?

I don't see how this can possibly be good for us but unlike you cultists I have some intelectual consistency and respect for facts. If Trump can prove me wrong and America would be better off because of these crazy policies then I'll put my ego aside and simply admit it.

What about you? Can you admit facts? Can you admit that Trump's first term added up to one of worst in American history according to historians of all political leans?

Rightwing organization, Newsweek, is reporting that Trump's approval has plummeted to the levels that saw the republicans wiped out in 2018. Cites the vastly unpopular tariffs and sky high recession fears.

Looks like Trump will only have another year and a half to totally trash this place.

According to pollster Harry Enten, Trump's disapproval rating is currently at a similar level to November 2018, when the Republicans lost the House in the midterms and the Democrats gained 41 seats. At the time, 42 percent disapproved of Trump's job performance, according to Enten's analysis.

Now, that number stands at 43 percent. According to Enten, that could be a bad sign for Trump, who is still more than a year away from the next round of midterm elections.
But wait. Trump was lower than that at 38% when he kicked Hillary's ass. Whoops. Your whole argument got flushed! Sorry.

Trump is well ahead of his JA number when he kicked Hillary's ass in 2016. He was at 38% then. Now what?

That's not a fact, it's an opinion. And I have no obligation to acknowledge opinions as fact.

If Trump is in trouble at 43&, how the **** can dems win anything in the midterms with a 20% Congressional approval rating?

Midterms always swing the other way. Trumps falling popularity will likely hurt. It’s just history. Maybe it’ll be different.

Youre making the mistake of assuming these trade wars will be in full effect at the midterms. There is ZERO chance of that happening. Trump can end the trade wars at any moment he wants to. I assume they will be over within 3 months, but its Trumps call. He will end it when he feels like its time to end it, which will be WAAAAAY before the midterms.

Yeppers,

This one is aging well.

Bwahahahaha.. This is from 21 minutes ago from NEWSWEEK which you linked:

President Donald Trump's approval rating is in the negative on almost every issue, according to a new poll.

A Marquette Law School poll, conducted between May 5-15 among 1,004 adults, shows that Trump is underwater on every issue other than border security, where his net approval rating stands at +12 points, with 56 percent approving and 44 percent disapproving.

Immigration ranks second in approval, with Americans evenly split 50-50, resulting in a net approval of zero.

Other areas where he's in the negative include foreign policy (-14), the economy (-16), and the Russia-Ukraine conflict (-20).

Up 10 points in the past month, according to CNN.

Another useless comment from the our "Data Guru".

You seem very selective in what you want to emphasize.

Yes, he is underwater.....for now.

But he's doing better than he was and certainly better than when you posted your stupid bed-wetter thread.

As an example:

President Donald Trump’s approval ratings may be underwater, but a new poll shows the Republican president making an important gain.

For the first time since July 2021, a narrow majority of American voters believe the American economy is strong, according to the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.

If he stays his course, it will only continue to improve.

Enjoy your little echo-chamber moment, charlatan.
