Why? Frankly, in my life, most of the real grief I've encountered have been because of other white men

I have never gotten a job, a loan, or any other form of career/life assistance from anyone other than a white male. I have received no assistance from women or minorities. I’ve also been screwed over by white makes but far less than the others.

That doesn’t mean I don’t have female/minority friends/co-workers, etc… just that when it comes to protecting my livelihood and lifestyle I’m looking to white men first.

In my career, I've lost out on one job opportunity to a woman who got her job due to affirmative action. And frankly, I moved beyond it.

I've seen far more cases where people have advanced because they were friends with the boss, related to the boss, or sleeping with the boss.

Well, here's the thing. I'm a white male, and I think I've lost one opportunity in my life because of AA. In 30 years since I left the Army. On the other hand, I've gotten a lot of opportunities for hiring or promotion because the person making the decision was a fellow white person.
