So far this is still a fairly open forum which doesn't really bar people from posting things that may upset others. Christian music is within the rules, if someone gets upset about something you post then they need to see a psychoanalyst not have their emotional insecurities, immaturities and failings catered to.

Nice question. "Christian Music" is a whole genre of contemporary, pop type music that has seemed to gain a lot of popularity over the past couple decades (IMHO). In my neck of the woods, there are at least two radio stations that are dedicated to this type of music. The format of the stations usually includes commentary about Christian teachings (by the DJ or guests), mixed with the pop music and regular advertisements. The lyrics of the music often, but not always, contains Bible or inspirational themes. Many very talented artists have turned their backs on main stream secular music, because the content of so many of those main stream songs has "immoral" qualities (eg. lewd and lascivious).

If you were listening to modern Christian Music and ignore the lyrics, you would think you were listening to any other modern pop music. I suppose they do include old fashioned traditional church choir type music, once in a while. Personally, I've come to prefer listening to these stations, especially when my daughter is with me, even though we aren't big time Bible thumpers : - )

The OT is part of the Christian bible, so yes; Jesus was a Torah scholar as well. It's why the Babylonian gangsters killed him; he was costing the scammers money. I use the term Gospel music, not 'Christian' music, in any case, and all of the OT is part of that.

Hebrews sang their verses in synagogue, and so did the Jewish Christians. Christians are a Jewish sect.
