And in a way it's brilliance. Obviously Obama would prefer someone who is rock solid on not rolling back voters rights and affirm action, and might even want someone who'd be opposed to Heller, and this guy is probably not helpful on the former, and he's clearly pro gun.
BUT, he took the Medicaid money, and Obamacare is Obama's signature for legacy on domestic issues. He makes it 6-3 against any challenge. Also, the gop lost an anti-choice vote with Scalia, and this guy is pro-choice. So, even if Hillary loses, and she shouldn't, Ginsberg's vote is saved.
