This man belongs in prison.

He had millions in stolen antiques. The fact that he didn't have any provenance isn't an excuse. In fact, it's proof he knew it was stolen.

The dealers who sold him that stolen property should also be prosecuted.

Instead, he has to pay a fine and can't collect antiques again.

This is one of the things that is wrong with the United States.

Real criminals don't go to prison only because they are rich.

It needs to stop. Just because a person has a lot of money doesn't mean that they shouldn't go to prison for their crimes.

We were taught to recite a pledge that the last sentence has been made a total joke.

AND JUSTIC FOR ALL.

This man wasn't convicted, so of course he doesn't belong in prison.

The Manhattan DA made a deal, are you suggesting that the taxpayers of New York should have had to deal with an expensive trial that they wouldn't have been guaranteed to win? And a trial that would have delayed justice for everyone else in an era of rapidly rising street crime?

The guy's all over the place. he's donated money to Cuomo, Giuliani, Nadler, De Blasio, Russ Feingold, Joe Lieberman, Tom Cotton, Rubio, Barney Frank, Corey Booker, Lindsey Graham, GW Bush, Richard Blumenthal, Joe Biden, Chris Christie, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, John Bolton, and John McCain.

He sounds like a Rinocrat. Lock his ass up and throw away the key.

How many people steal millions of dollars and can get a deal where they just have to give it back and promise to not do it again?

That is the whole point.

He wasn't even prosecuted.

If we had justice for all he would have been and obviously would have been found guilty then sent to prison.

However, he is a billionaire. So all he has to do is pay a fine and promise not to do it again.

Do you believe that is justice?

The man had millions in stolen antiques and he knew they were stolen.

Yet you have no problem with it.

Why do you defend billionaire criminals?
