I have to disagree. This particular Caucasian man was far too provocative, and in-your-face persistent. Plus the article strongly suggest he was mentally challenged as well. IOW, I would not use this guy as a defense for any cause. There are weirdos and radicals in all movements, ideologies, religions, etc. Anyone who uses a very selective miniscule percentage to trash the whole movement is being disingenuous.

Here is a better example of what I consider to be incredibly unjust retaliation by authorities. Assistant football coach at Illinois State, Kurt Beathard, was gone on leave because of his wife's death . >> Excerpt: According to Beathard, a Black Lives Matter poster was placed on his door while he was on leave following the death of his wife, who had breast cancer. Clearly the college was OK with a BLM message posted on his door. But because he put up a sign that took offense toward no one, and did not take it down upon request, he was fired from his job. How is the first one ok, but not the secong? Either all these colleges are indoctrinated into making alleged universal racism to be “the greatest threat to our survival” (something Obama and Biden have said about climate change, LOL) --- or they are just plain cowards who will sacrifice their principles, justice and the common good for the sake of not being confronted.

Despite their public façade, BLM is actually a different organization than they try to appear to be. If they meant what they portrayed, they wouldn’t get upset by general agreement with their mantra. OF COURSE Black Lives Matter. That’s a subset of ALL Lives Matter.

But they DO GET UPSET by that comment. So, the question is why? What about that perfectly true response upsets them in particular?

I have read that they are contending that black lives have not been historically treated as having value: so that it undermines their message to say “all lives matter.” Well, then, what are they really suggesting?

Are they saying that for the sake of “historical justice,” the lives of currently living black people should matter more than white people’s lives? I suppose they would hesitate to overtly make such an obviously racist claim if they seek public approval.

In reality, the BLM organized movement has Marxist roots. They seek much more than the right to be treated fairly and equally by cops and the justice system. I agree with the latter. Of course all black people deserve equal protection when it comes to those matters. But the BLM organization seeks such crap as “redistributive justice.” They won’t say it too much out loud and our dishonest liberal media won’t report it.

But BLM is not what they want us to believe it is.
