Luigi Mangione is a tragic story his situation is one of those cases where the foolishness and the stupidity of youth made all the difference for his terrible choices. If he put all his grievances aside and decided not to act on these matters for ten years and in ten years time when he revisited the situation he would realize that pursuing violence over this situation is so inappropriate it should be considered crazy behavior. For his loved ones and people with compassion for him the hope should be that somehow he can end up with a sentence where he doesn't get capital punishment or life without parole but somehow gets a sentence that maybe somehow he can get a few years of freedom on the back end of his life!
Mr. Mangione's family should replace Thomas Dickey as Luigi's lawyer. Mr. Dickey is probably a decent trial lawyer he probably plays well before a jury because he is a likeable guy. But Luigi needs a scholastic team of lawyers he is going to need lawyers that can use the law well to stop or shape the evidence the government wants to put into evidence at the trial to protect Luigi's rights, Dickey isn't a scholarly lawyer it is obvious from his TV appearances. The Mangione family should try to find the best law firm it can that specializes solely in criminal trial work and has a great track record of success. The government is going to have a great team of lawyers prosecuting this case the defense will need a great team of lawyers to counter it will be a really tough case wisdom calls for seeing this coming. The Mangione family needs to get lawyers for Luigi that will stay the hell away from the TV cameras first because smart criminal lawyers try the case in the courtroom not in the media and secondly and this is very important a certain segment of America views Luigi as a hero as a champion for the little guy abused by the system, Luigi's defense team wants to suppress this perspective about this case as much as possible and staying away from TV cameras is a given to this end because Prosecutor Offices and people in elected office across the nation need to deter what Mr. Mangione did as much as possible it cannot be okay in America for people to use violence to fight wrongs in our system allowing this would break down our society. Another point is that Luigi needs lawyers that can get through to him that he should keep his mouth shut about the case what he did today yelling to the media about how the system is a failed system is stupid beyond words because you are just providing more evidence to the prosecution to use against him in court further he should be careful about talking to other prisoners because the government will be trying to get prisoners to get Luigi to incriminate himself and use it at trial.
In the media there is a lot being made of the many people across the nation that are providing positive commentary about Luigi. Contrary to the way the media is spinning this development I don't think these people are supporting that Americans grab their guns and start shooting people until things are right in the country. I think people are saying we are fed up with the broken dysfunctional government system that gives us a health care system that is way too expensive and too difficult to utilize! I think the positive views on Luigi are the same views held by many Americans that brought about Donald Trump being elected President. It's extreme outrage over the failure of government and desperation that people elect a person that should not be elected. Mr. Trump is not a person of bad heart he has a good heart but he doesn't have the make-up to reliably do what is good and he doesn't have the make-up to set up a system to provide the needed help for him to do what is good. His picks of Hegseth, Kennedy, Gabbard and Patel are per se bad, commitment to carrying out the President's agenda isn't the only criteria for appointments, candidates have to be qualified including character qualified. Tariffs should primarily be used to protect domestic manufacturing, in other words to stop the abuses of the pure evil economic model of globalization, not as a gun to the head of foreign countries to resolve serious policy problem differences. The positive public response on Luigi Mangione's believed actions is another call to change the U.S. constitution to fix our broken government! America with all speed needs to change the constitution to have term limits for Senators and members of the House, we need to stop gerrymandering of voting districts by mandating voting districts solely be drawn by algorithms based solely on geometric criteria like equal length sides as much as possible and that giving money isn't equivalent to a free speech right that giving money that find its way into elections must be regulated to stop the undue influence in our democracy of deep pocketed individuals and businesses!
