that is close to accurate, but not quite.

There are two ways to calculate how much a POTUS added, either from inauguration day to day before inauguration day. The more accurate way is to do from first budget year to end of last budget year.

All my numbers came from this site: Debt to the Penny (Daily History Search Application)

I will do both so I am not accused of being biased.

The day Bush II took office the debt stood at $5,727,776,738,304.64.
The day Bush II left office the debt stood at $10,628,881,485,510.20

That is an increase of 85.6%.

The first day of Bush II's first budget year (Oct 1, 2001) the debt stood at $5,806,151,389,190.21
The last day of Bush II's last budget year (Sept 30, 2009) the debt stood at $11,909,829,003,511.70

That is an increase of 105.1%, meaning he actually did spend more than all other presidents before him.

Now, for Obama:

The day Obama took office the debt stood at $10,626,877,048,913.00
The day Obama left office the debt stood at $19,944,429,217,106.70

That is an increase of 87.7%.

The first day of Obama's first budget year (Oct 1, 2009) the debt stood at $11,920,519,164,319.40
The last day of Obama's last budget year (Sept 30, 2017) the debt stood at $20,244,900,016,053.50

That is an increase of 69.8%.

No matter how you calculate it, Obama did not spend more all other presidents before him. That is just a lie passed on by the Repubs.

I should point out that Reagan added 186% to the national debt, meaning he added more than all other presidents before him plus another 86%.

And FDR added something like 1000% to the national debt, more than all other presidents before him times 10.

Obama Has Now Increased Debt More than All Presidents from George Washington Through George H.W. Bush Combined. That means that in the less-than-three-years Obama has been in office, the federal debt has increased by $4.212 trillion--more than the total national debt of about $4.1672 trillion accumulated by all 41 U.S. presidents from George Washington through George H.W. Bush combined.

Obama Adds More To Deficit Than All Presidents Before Him. This is far less than each of the Obama years. The Obama administration holds the record for the top six annual budget deficits all accumulated in its first six years, with more than $1 Trillion deficits in each of its first four years alone.
Figures that comes from fake news gatewaypundit...

At the end of 2008, the accumulated total of all US Deficits for all administrations since 1789 was $5.3 Trillion.

No, that’s a lie. The actual accumlationof all U.S. deficits by the end of 2008 was actually $10.7

Debt to the Penny (Daily History Search Application)

Obama added $9.3 trillion. And while it’s amusing to watch you brain-dead rightards accept such bullshit as gospel, not even you can convince anyone with a functioning brain that $9.3 trillion is more than $10.7 trillion.

I am pretty sure this moron thought that George H.W. Bush was the president after Clinton, not before.
I'm sure this moron thought Clinton would follow Obama.

did you? Well, I guess you were wrong.
I feel for you. Losing sucks, eh?

the whole country lost, there was not a winning hand in the last election. When you are stuck choosing between gonorrhea and syphilis there is not a winning choice, and that is where we were at.

As for me, I refuse to be a slave to the duopoly thus the candidate I vote for will never win because there are too many sheep like you, though Ross did come close....sort of!

You are sort of dense, the country lost...that includes you and me.

But my guy not winning the election means about as much to me as my Gators not winning the SEC, I am upset for about 10 minutes and I move on.

Trump was good for me for his first 12 months, then he had to fuck it up.

You don't know?....ROTFLMFAO

I am asking you which you are talking about? Above it was stated that the House controlled the spending.

As far as Presidents, it is easy.

FDR added the highest percentage of any POTUS.

Followed by Reagan, then Bush II and then Obama.

Meanwhile Obama grew the national debt by $10 Trillion dollars, spending more than all presidents before him including Bush 43.

And pawn again shows he is the weakest link. Bragging because his beloved messiah only spent nearly as much as all other president's combined. With ZERO actual accomplishments. Now he'll cry because Obozo was mentioned. Another leftist who doesn't understand what a baseline is. Head to the car dealership pawn, your hero is down there trying to buy a legacy.

No the $9.3 trillion debt by Obama was in addition to the base of $10.7 trillion debt incurred all the presidents from G. Washington to Bush 43.
Moron, you claimed $9.3t is greater than $10.7t.

Yes, you really are stupid enough to b’lieve that

And pawn again shows he is the weakest link. Bragging because his beloved messiah only spent nearly as much as all other president's combined. With ZERO actual accomplishments. Now he'll cry because Obozo was mentioned. Another leftist who doesn't understand what a baseline is. Head to the car dealership pawn, your hero is down there trying to buy a legacy.
LOLOL

Spits a member of the herd who gave us Bush43, who also added almost as much debt as every president before him combined, yet conservatives never once complained, gave us Bush41, who also was on pace to add more debt than every president before him combined, yet conservatives never once complained, and gave us Reagan, who not only did add more debt than every president before him combined, he almost doubled what every president before him added to the debt, and again, conservatives never once complained.

So maybe now you'll understand why no one gave a shit that you suddenly found concern for the debt for no reason other than the president was a Democrat. A concern, might I add, that you once again won't complain about with a Republican president.

Meanwhile Obama grew the national debt by $10 Trillion dollars, spending more than all presidents before him including Bush 43.

that is close to accurate, but not quite.

By January 2009, the United States had accumulated $10.6 trillion in debt. That's the net amount the country had borrowed from Washington through the Bush years.... The gross national debt now stands at $19.7 trillion. That's an increase of $9.1 trillion ‚ÄĒ not quite a doubling, but pretty close.

Where is the wall?
Best health care system?
Lower the deficit?

I only ask because the economy has been doing well for the las 8 years or so...and the OP lied about the GDP growth.
The wall is being built. Our health care system is fine after him getting rid of the mandate. He's just beginning.
Do you just like to lie to yourself?

People are not being penalized for not complying with the mandates of obamamonkeycare.....a tax on healthcare plans that leftards claimed were "cadillac" plans (unless you were "union") was kicked to the curb. PRESIDENT Trump disrespected the jug-eared queer clown and gave him the back-handed wave of the hand and dismissed him. That is part of the angst leftards are suffering from.......
We still have a shitty health care system...trump promised the best health care system with low premiums where is it ?

Bush never signed a budget for FY2009. He ultimately signed a continuing resolution in September, 2008, to keep the government operating. That lasted until mid March, 2009. So you can’t really attribute all of FY2009 to Bush.

May?? Not May??

LOLOL

Dumbfuck, presidents typically submit their budget requests in April, so May is no big deal. Especially when you understand that new budgets don’t go into effect until October, there was still plenty of time for submitting such requests.

Whining about abject nonsense like that only makes you appear like a whiner.
