For months Sanders has been promising a showdown at the OK DNC.
His showdown has turned into nothing more than goose-stepping around to the back of Hillary's skirt, err, uh, pantsuit.

As one follwer put it:
"He's been feeding us Mountain Dew for months, and now he's telling us to go to bed".

Oh I'm not concerned, I think it's funnier than hell !

Wonder how much $ the Clinton's slipped Bernie to get him to publicly endorse her ?

Bernie feels that a Hillary Presidency is better for the country than a Trump Presidency. His followers will understand.

In that way he is like Ted Cruz, who also thinks a Hillary Presidency is better for the country than a Trump Presidency.

It's strange that republicans demonized a man for not endorsing a nominee to the point where his wife had to be rushed away in fear for her safety, and are also demonizing a man for the complete opposite reason. There's just no winning with you people I guess.

What happened to all his demands at the convention ?

The higher you place your idol, the further it can fall.
There are definitely too many people who place too much faith in professional politicians.

And when such a large portion of your base is young, impressionable people - especially with the advent of social media - holy crap, it really becomes a high wire act.

The danger there is that the disappointment is so profound that it turns them off to the process...
.

In the final analysis, when you get right down to where the bear Pope shits in the woods...

Bernie proved his Establishment bona fides, after all...

Even when it became clear that that Establishment had stacked the deck against him... licking the hand that slapped him down.

Turns out, it was all bullshit - an uncomfortable surrender and kow-tow'ing to the Liberal Ruling Elites - predictable, but very, very disappointing.

I think it was understandable up until the DNC emails. But, after reading and finding out they were sending people to rallies and willingly, consciously, knowingly screwing the campaign and looking at how they aligned themselves with the media (Politico/Victory Fund) and more asking people to understand and ride that wave is too much.

I wonder what Hillary promised her...

Bottonline, Crazy Bernie is a fake, phony, fraud. Question for leftists is who ya gonna vote for the insider who fucked you, or the outsider who wants to arrest your rapist.

Bernie looked totally defeated, they must have threatened to kill him unless he endorsed her

Well, we see apparently adult people here reacting as the political neophytes that backed Bernie. Sanders achieved much in his campaign, and had a profound influence on the Democratic Platform. So he didn't get the whole loaf. That is politics. And, being politics is the art of the possible, he got as much as he possibly could. And then endorsed the person that he felt was the best candidate for President. I am simply amazed at the adolescent attitude presented here by adults that by now should understand the political process.

This is actually a good life lesson for the young to learn. All through the primaries it was often stated that Bernie's campaign was really never going to succeed. The election was rigged.

Now those who thought Bernie had a chance see what true corruption is all about. A bitter lesson and a hard pill to swallow. but if they were on board sooner, to the idea the whole thing was rigged, then their disappointment wouldn't be so great.
