Schopenhaur reasoned that the world was bad and must have been created by a devil.
In a way he was right, except he was unaware of the "world" that he spoke up.
Because the world of "reason" is actually the world "created by a devil" - reason seems to be the forbidden knowledge which destroyed Eden - human's natural, perfected state, and created a world of industrialization which is responsible for all of the evils in the world. We are now born with the "original sin", because we have to use reason, and it's byproducts such as technology to survive - despite it being responsible for most of our problems and destroying our state of nature.
What we thing is the "world" is a spook of the mind, because from our earliest days we are taught language, and indoctrinated with many false beliefs by society and the media - if we could forget how to reason and instead use our intuition, or faith - we would no longer be blinded by the world of reason created by our deceiver and we would experience God directly.
