The cronyism begins

Donald Trump's transition team will make a recommendation that would sabotage the government's ability to investigate and regulate the safety of self-driving vehicles like those Elon Musk's company is developing, according to a new report.

The first of many handouts to the wealthy at the expense of the public.

Are you saying your State isn't capable of collecting this data and deciding if these cars are a safety hazard on their roads? Why is it you folks always look to the feds to protect you when the States can be more nimble and responsive? And how is it everything is put on the auto maker, they aren't notified every time one of their vehicles are involved in an accident. There are almost 6 million auto accidents a year, not every one is reported to the feds, sounds like one type of auto is being singled out.

.

I'mma have another Brawndo and some popcorn.
Sounds reasonable.

He's not even in office yet and you are already having to come up with excuses for him.

How long until you get tired of it?

From the article:

“Reuters could not determine what role, if any, Musk may have played in crafting the transition-team recommendations or the likelihood that the administration would enact them. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation, a trade group representing most major automakers except Tesla, has also criticized the requirement as burdensome.”

So what is the problem?

Four years and you're still making excuses for your demented cult leader.

Uhhh.
Invest a Billion dollars and you can bypass environmental review.

Wow! What a great opportunity. Let me write a check for a billion and run my chemical processing plant in a residential subdivision through! Flint Michigan who?….

Uhhhh…. That’s not going to happen.

You are deflecting instead of answering.
No deflection. Just calling out your lie

You claimed "Joe Biden has "admitted" no such thing." The thing being that the inflation reduction act was really a climate act. He did admit it, publicly.

Four years on - you are still making excuses for him Aren't you tired of it?

Was that even in this thread?

How is it cronyism when a group that does not even represent Tesla also advocates for the removal of the regulation?

Swing and a miss.

What's ironic is the Sleepy Joe was the King of Cronyism.

Brought people into his administration solely because of their race or ethnicity, or because of what they like to take in the butt.

Mayor Petey was chosen to run the nation's transportation, only because of his love of sodomy, even though he didn't have enough transport experience to qualify as an uber driver.

OP, take the L and move on.

Either you did not read the article, or you assumed no one else would.

Reuters sure thought no one would read their article.

But JFK wants to make sure vaccines are actually “safe and effective”
