Zone1 Another question to ponder.

The accounts are what the accounts are. That you read the flood account literally - when it is clearly not - is on you. Especially since you know how ridiculous it is to read that account literally. You are just upset because I am ruining your gaslighting fun.
Youre not ruining anything. You just think you are. You sound like a complete hack.

You dont. You just think you do.
This says otherwise :)

Probably because the flood was an allegorical account of an historical event that was so out of the ordinary and unusual that it was noteworthy enough to be passed down orally from generation to generation. And like the other historical events in the first eleven chapters of Genesis, it was embellished with moral truths to make it more memorable so that it was easier to remember and pass down. In other words, God didn't send a flood to kill the entire planet.

The "hack" is arguing the flood account was meant to be read literally like you are trying to do.
Whatever you tell yourself to justify your silly religion. Now go eat your 2k year old corpse.

It's reality. Just look at what you are doing. It's as plain as the nose on your face.

Thats your belief. You have to say that because who can believe 3/4 of the events in the bible? Except for loons.

It's not about religion. It's about God. That you let religion prevent you from having a relationship with God is the definition of silly. If you had a relationship with God, you wouldn't be concerning yourself over anyone else's religion. You'd have everything you need.

So God had a son for the sole purpose of sending Him to earth to be brutally slaughtered?

Nice guy!

No, nice God.

Yes, God the Father planned on God the Son, being the slaughtered sacrifice for man. To which God the Son agreed and offered Himself.

And we’re supposed to follow them?

No thanks ! Just a bit too illogical for me.

I already did. (Rev. 13:8) "...in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

Do I need to repeat it again?

You are posting shit that was AFTER he freaking died dude. That does not match your claim on page 1.

It's called 'revelation' from God. Just like in (Gen. 1:1), Moses posted the words of God after the creation happened. Revelation doesn't just pertain to things in the future. It also pertains to things in the past.

But don't worry...you don't have to believe it. I do.

So god sent jesus (himself) to save us from himself. He did that so he could forgive sins. Atonement.
Why didnt he do that, instead of the flood? Why did he kill the entire planet and almost all the animals, when he could have just sent jesus earlier? Did the omniscient one just not think of jesus yet? Or is he just a freaking psychopath?
This is just another pondering that leaves me in the "WTF" category.
After rereading scripture, it looks like if the god of the bible does exist, it's doubtful that he would be worthy of worship.

You still dont understand, apparently.

If he showed himself to me right now, I would laugh in his face. And then run like hell, because he is going to kill the next 3 generations of my lineage.. ;)
