Seems to me Business owners and the people have had it with the leftist minority trying to throw thier weight around.

The people are taking a stand. It's great to see the awakening.

Chick-fil-A supporters turn out in droves for ‘Appreciation Day’
Aug. 1, 2012 : After several weeks of protests and mayoral catcalls stemming from Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy's controversial public comments against same-sex marriage, supporters of the fast-food chain--and traditional marriage--turned out in droves on Wednesday, jamming many of Chick-fil-A's 1,600 U.S. stores. And protesters, for the most part, stayed away.
In Englewood, Colo., an overcapacity lunch crowd spilled into the Chick-fil-A parking lot while dozens queued up inside. By 11 a.m., 14 cars filled the drive-thru lane. A half hour later, the back-up had tripled: At one point, 37 vehicles slowly pushed through the parking lot in serpentine fashion, transforming the lot into a makeshift drive-thru. Three employees clad in neon-green parking vests directed traffic and took orders. "As far as Chick-fil-A is concerned, it's business as usual," Vicki Getz, a supervising employee, told Yahoo News, declining further comment.

At a table outside, Evelyn Walker, 26, and her husband, Tim, 27, ate spicy chicken sandwiches and waffle fries in support of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day." "Every company and owners have a right to say what they want to say," Tim Walker said. "Chick-fil-A has always been known to have a Christian basis, so I guess it's nice to see them stand up and show that--in more than just not being open on Sundays."

The couple, who live in nearby Littleton, said they don't eat fast food often, but supporting the chain was part and parcel to their faith. "We believe that scripturally, in the Bible, the Lord states that marriage is between a man and a woman," Evelyn said. "And marriage between two women together, two men together is detestable to him." More than 500,000 people RSVP'd to Huckabee's event on Facebook.

For those like John Mohler, 50, of Thornton, Colo., eating at Chick-fil-A on Wednesday was about defending free speech. Mohler said he doesn't share Cathy's belief--only his rights to air them. "I'm not sure I agree with his position on gay marriage," said Mohler, who drove to Englewood from downtown Denver on his lunch break. "But I applaud the owner for speaking his mind, and that's why I'm here." In Chicago, throngs of supporters flocked to the lone Chick-fil-A, where the line of customers snaked through the entrance and around the corner.

Linda Madden, 45, said that, though she and her co-workers regularly eat at Chick-fil-A, they "specifically chose Wednesday to drum up support." Steve Lolufs, 32, said he supports the company because "they always give back." Lolufs, originally from Atlanta, said that Chick-fil-A paid for him to attend high school, building a private school and offering scholarships.

We don't have a Hate-fil-A around here so I can't actively boycott.

However, we do have a Wendy's. Let the partitioning of America continue!

1. 86 locations is not a lot of wendy's at all. I don't even think that covers 1 state's wendy's. maybe alaska or hawaii, or north dakota.
2. A franchise owner does not speak for wendy's.
3. This sunday chik fil a will lose all that extra money they make due to their religious concerns.
4. This sunday all those chik fil a supporters will have to go to one of the many competitors of chik fil a if they want some fast food.
5. Think of all the money that could have been donated directly to hate organizations that now is completely wasted on chicken.

Go go chik fil a.

You didnt even read your own link did you? This is why you are trash and should be treated as such.

The signs were taken down a few hours after they went up

Please note the tweet wendy's gave out saying they did not approve f such messages and had them taken down. That these where independent stores who took it upon themselves to support CFA.

There now we know your Op is fucking trash, just like every other thread you make. Learn to read dipshit.

Well, just suck a dick extra hard tonight in solidarity!

One must be gay to support equality? More likely, you just have a dick fixation. I'm sure eating more chicken will suppress that.

Should I point out that the wendy's is probably not under the ownership of that particular franchise, or should I just let the idiot keep on showing us how stupid he is by supporting a company that has not universally come out against homosexual marriage?

Wendys is awesome, from Dublin, Ohio......next to where I was raised, Worthington!!!!!

Oh Jroc....GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, also intends to protest at the same location, calling attention to “Chick-fil-A’s cruelty to chickens as well as its anti-gay stance.”
you know I said that all the liberal groups were fronts for hedonistic socialism and Jake Starkey tried to say I was wrong....well well, PETA is pro gay rights, that has zero to do with animal rights.....I find it funny that all these groups have the same exact policies on EVERY issue...they're just ideological laundering groups....with the exact same agenda...which is why PETA really doesnt care about animals...

The one fact a liberal can never comprehend:

A boycott is the most effective form of advertising. It draws those who oppose the liberal point of view; those who actually have some money to spend and will spend it to defend the objective of the invective. The liberal media trumpets the boycott and name recognition soars. People like me who never heard of Chick-Fil-A are now very much aware of it and will go out of their way to do business there when in a place that has one.

Keep up the good work, pinkos, you're making the proprietors immensely rich.
