The thread is constructed to show that academia and the media pander to the failed policies of the Left, and lie about the success of conservative endeavors.
For example, they gush over the failure, Obama, the first President in nigh on a century to never had a 3% or better GDP......and had 8 chances at it.

7. Each percentage of GDP is equal to about 13 million jobs gained or lost. So, there is a real value in having a high GDP, and government policy should be geared toward accomplishing that.

So....why can't Democrats function with that aim in mind?

Here's a hint:

"But he did identify what he called “tactical lessons.” He let himself look too much like “the same old tax-and-spend liberal Democrat.” The Education of President Obama

The two terms that are pertinent in any such discussion are "taxes" and "regulations." That's why Democrats and prosperity don't go together.

Perhaps a third terms should go in the middle...."corruption."

If government policy simply favored entrepreneurs, well, then business wouldn't have to 'donate,' or 'bribe' or spend untold fortunes on politicians-cum-lobbyists, would they.

a. Did you know that prior to 1994, Bill Gates refused to bribe, donate, pay off politicians?

Then...." United States v. Microsoft Corporation 253 F.3d 34 (D.C. Cir. 2001) is a U.S. antitrust lawcase, ultimately settled by the Department of Justice, where Microsoft Corporation was accused of becoming a monopoly and engaging in anti-competitive practices..."

If you saw a politician with no experience, a father who stated that 100% taxation was acceptable, and refused to negotiate with the other side.....

.....what would be the problem with resisting him at every opportunity???

In case you truly don't understand the divide.....

a. individualism, free markets, and limited constitutional government.

b. the collective, command and control regulation of private industry, and overarching government that can order every aspect of the private citizen's life....right down to control of his thoughts and speech.

Which do you choose?
certainly not b......

Excellent.....you can join us, conservatives.

b. is the what Liberals, Progressives, Nazis, Fascists, Communists and Socialists offer for society.

Good to have you aboard......we have cookies.
I was one until shortly after voting for gwb in 2000

The far left would much rather watch the world burn than admit to being wrong!

Look all the seats they have lost across the country and yet they still believe that they are winning..

How do I want the world to burn? I want a stronger nation that invest in our own people.

The far left is usually wrong on all fronts yet they can not see it, they are blinded by their religious dogma!
