I am suggesting the GOP try to unplug their smear machine for a bit - constant poop throwing at Obama over petty stuff is hurting their image, BIG time, and wasting energy.
They need to start offerring up solutions and show themselves to be interested in America getting better.
Selling "NO!" and "Obstruction is good Policy!" to American voters in 2010 will be impossible, even if Obama 's policies aren't working as planned.

First of all, when did Obama lay his hand on the Bible and say "I swear I am a Christian?" That's a little hard for me to believe. Not saying it isn't possible, but I'm too skeptical to believe it just because you say so.

And secondly,maybe Obama lost faith over the course of the past year? Seeing how Christianity can divide people instead of Uniting them: Palin, Rev. Wright, the Religious Right, etc. maybe he didn't think the Biblical God is the right one. Maybe he converted to secular humanism. How do you know?

President Barack Obama nominated Fannie Mae Chief Executive Herb Allison Friday to oversee the Treasury Department's Troubled Asset Relief Program, putting him at the heart of the administration's drive to bolster the U.S. financial system.

Michael Williams, currently Fannie's chief operating officer, is expected to be named to succeed Mr. Allison as CEO, according to people familiar with the situation.

If confirmed by the Senate, Mr. Allison will become assistant Treasury secretary for financial stability and counselor to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner. He also will serve as an adviser on policy matters, the White House said.

In choosing Mr. Allison to head TARP, the administration is turning to an experienced manager at a time when it is having trouble filling key finance posts.

ROFL, he was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. The funny thing is that I know of people who were born to both parents being Muslim who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. I suppose it is possible that a man born of a Muslim father and a Christian mother could be either Muslim or Christian or maybe even Jewish.
