maybe even enough to go to the pub during the weekends eh! and weekend trips to attractions. people need relationships too.

So .. perhaps ... individuals should be better educated to earn a few more dollars ... yet .. the low income individuals probably know more about sporting events, activities, games and pop culture. You do realize that an entry level job at McDonalds (or any fast food restaurant) was designed for high school students to earn a few dollars while learning ethics and responsibility to advance -- prepare for real-world scenarios. Entry level roles were not designed to provide a .. (lol) ... liveable wage.

ok, i think it's time to start taxing the richest individuals and corporations a lot more, to close tax loopholes (the rich are the only ones with tax havens after all),
AND TO INTRODUCE UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOMES AS THE NEW STANDARD IN ALL DEMOCRACIES WORLD-WIDE.

i know, it's a big ask/demand.
but the alternative will be violent revolutions (not by my hand or suggestion, just because the poor will eventually see the light and move into the darkness of war to reach their own light at the end of that violent tunnel).
and owning a yacht or a sportscar is definitely a false sense of security.

that means they'll spend their time working, at whatever pace they feel comfortable with.
it could be working for their family members, or starting a bread bakery (which you could inspire the youth to do, as bread baking is simply needed by all and thus a big ego reward waiting to happen) - or to build a series of websites like i am - or to build new hardware for on the road or on the internet - you name it.

they, themselves. their customers, rather. thru those good old capitalist ways.
but, if i were in charge of the transition, increasingly heavy taxes on your way into billionaire status, except for industries where holding billions is of essential importance to society as a whole (farming, shipping, semiconductor production, etc, etc). and even those industries would face a cap per company/conglomerate, as a way to foster competition and thus innovation.
