McCarthy approaches Biden debt ceiling talks with the economy — and his job — at stake

Who cares .. get your ass out on work to earn a living .. EARN .. not .. Demand
ignore the demands and you'll reap violent revolutions against the rich, mind my words.
not because i'll advertise for those, but because the poor will en-masse reach the same conclusions as i have in this thread.

why work futily for the rich man when you can just kill 'm and his sons, enslave and rape his beautiful daughters, and take his wealth? because that's what IRL class warfare will look like.
the only things stopping this from happening anytime soon is the fallacy of the ego gratification given to the also-underpaid soldiers and cops.

Why would you want to be a "rich man," if ... you're the provider for millions? Why wouldn't a provider want to just suck on the government teet?

UBI = Failure

under pure capitalism, the rich man is already the provider. for his employees. for people in social welfare and elderly care.

and yet, capitalism has failed.
too much slavery.

it's time for UBI!

to be honest, i'm getting tired of the endless cycles of seeing the rich get richer at the expense of the poor.
the poor are suffering on all sides.

so instead of more austerity for the poor, MAGA Republicans, i really think it's time to tax the richest more.
as a personal note : you lead the world, Americans. your example to tax the rich more would serve as an example for all of your allies around 10 to 20 years down the road.
if you feel differently about this, then i'd like to see some public statements as to why you feel that way.

You don't even live in this country, just STFU.

STFU yourself you redneck.
with all the cultural and economic bullying you Americans do to your allies, we got EVERY RIGHT to be complaining about your internal affairs, which tend to lead the "free" world alright.

How does NOT blowing billions of dollars put McCarthy's job at risk? The only way his job is at risk is if he allows the White House to squander money and drive up our debt.

You will get what we give you. If you dont like what you get, too fucking bad. You should have been a superior American, like us. :dunno:

the very restrictions on foodstamps that MAGA is now advocating, for instance!

and it's a Republican problem because it was Trump who just handed over 2T USD to the richest!
restrictions? you mean work requirements? why should anyone be paying higher taxes to fund welfare for people that don’t even have to try and look for work?

‘We’ve got to build new cities’: Regional focus could solve housing crisis in Australia

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says Australia “can’t keep stacking people up” in the current cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane otherwise” only the rich will be able to afford a basic home”. “We’ve got to build new cities,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia host Amanda Stoker. “We should be investing in North Queensland, in regional New South Wales – all around the country so that we don’t just keep stacking people up in the cities where housing is already very expensive."

i can't answer this one. i lack the knowledge of the workings of your House and Senate for that.

oh you got a superiority complex do you?

after the many failures of socialism and pure capitalism/meritocracies, we the poor do consider that a human obligation.

hahaa it’s not. It’s not at all. Nobody is obligated to give you anything…while socialism clearly has a history of failure, your failure to work is not the fault of socialism or capitism…it’s just you being lazy

Meh, were I McCarthy I'd walk into the meeting with a basketball, toss it to Chuckie, and say "the House did it's job, the ball is in your court" and walk out.

Once the Bill passed the House it should have been sent to the floor of the Senate for a vote. If it failed then the reconciliation process should have started......A fuckin' week ago!

McCarthy is not going to pull the Bill so the dems better get hot or they will face the consequences.

I believe that the is a Tater replacement move afoot within the MSM and they might not be willing to support the dems on this one.
