Is anyone else getting this virus alert and is it legit?

it popped up and said my machine has been 29 percent corrupted by a virus that it says came from adult sites, which I don't visit. It wants me to install an app and has some very real looking google banners. I talks about on your phone but I am on an iPad,with a phone number which I don't use. Seems like a,pretty slick hack to me.
