Eh...
What more fascism do you wish to impose?
Isn't there a pipe-bomb you should be building?
No, that's your bong. The cheap ditch weed you filled it with is making you hallucinate.

Oh well, guess we better go single-payer then.

Here's the deal: people wanted something done. Poll after poll showed that a public option was popular. Conservatives didn't want that and managed to stop it from happening. Something got done anyway. Whatever downsides there might be will be dealt with.
You don't want this and you can get enough people elected to get rid of it, then you better be prepared for people to call even harder for something even more socialistic, because you are the minority.
Some 68 percent of Americans hope the Supreme Court will strike down all or part of President Barack Obama’s health care law, while just 24 percent hope the high court will uphold Obamacare, according to a New York Times/CBS News poll.
Times/CBS Poll: 68% Against Obamacare
A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Sunday showed that a majority of Americans oppose President Obama’s health-care law—although they support most of its provisions. The Supreme Court is expected to rule on the law sometime this week. Although strong majorities support individual parts of the law, 61 percent of people are against the “individual mandate,” which forces Americans to purchase medical insurance. Overall, 56 percent of people are against the health-care law, and 44 people are in favor of it. Meanwhile, a majority of 56 former Supreme Court clerks said earlier this week that they believe the court will shoot down the law.

of course that's the goal of the lefties....
i say we cut out all the middlemen.....government, employers, insurance cos., etc.......and let people pay directly to doctors/clinics for their ordinary care plus buy a major medical coverage plans for the big emergency stuff.....costs will plummet immediately....
...and religious freedom will be preserved....

That's fine. You're not getting that, though. We had an election where there was a clear indication which direction we'd go in depending on who got elected POTUS. the guy who represented the "free market solution" didn't win. Therefore, Obamacare stays.
I predict, btw, that you and other cons will see plenty to vindicate your view while this is being implemented. That's what happens in major overhauls. That doesn't mean all that you predict will come true or that it won't still be better for everyone in the long run.
Can anyone seriously believe that? Sundays British papers report that a study by the research firm Lloyds TSB Premier Banking found that nearly two-thirds of Britons earning more than $78,700 a year have taken out private health insurance because they dont trust the NHS. A survey by the British health-care organization Bupa found that two-thirds of its customers cited the risk of infection from superbugs as a top reason for buying private insurance. Shaun Matisonn, the chief executive of PruHealth, says that patients today are sophisticated consumers of health care. They research the treatments they want, but cannot always get them through the NHS.
Horror stories about the NHS abound. A 2007 survey of almost 1,000 physicians by Doctors Magazine found that two-thirds said they had been told by their local NHS trust not to prescribe certain drugs, and one in five doctors knew patients who had suffered as a result of treatment rationing. The study cited one physician who characterized the NHS as a lottery. A new study this year by GP magazine supports that conclusion. Through Freedom of Information Act records, it found that 90 percent of NHS trusts were rationing care.
Rick Dewsbury of the Daily Mail was aghast at the worship of the NHS during Fridays Olympic ceremony. The columnist noted the sheer hypocrisy of the spectacle, as the majority of the athletes taking part in the Games will have access to the most expensive cutting-edge private treatment available in the world for even the slightest graze on their bodies.
Britain
Why should he have to sell off the business he spent his life building up because the federal government suddenly decided to intrude in his decisions? Does that sound like a free nation to you?
Why should he give a fuck if his employees want to use birth control? If the employers want to be up to their dicks in our healthcare business, everyone needs to play by the same rules, regardless of religion, creed, shade of Monkey khaki, etc., etc.
I wasn't aware that the owners of Hobby Lobby were complaining about their employees using birth control. Did I miss something?
The problem is forcing people to buy health care from their employer via tax code favoritism and manipulation, in effect creating monopolies. Stop screaming about the symptoms and start looking at the problem.
What makes you think I don't already know that. In fact, I said earlier in this thread the entire law should have never been passed in the first place.

The owners of Hobby Lobby are bitching about having to pay for B/C as part of the employers health care package. The point is, facing the fact that health insurance is indeed tied to employment, Hobby Lobby needs to suck it up and play by the same rules as everyone else, their religion be damned. That and the best answer to the problem of employers having to pay for birth control as part of employer provided coverage is to remove health care from the employer / employee relationship.

so you think we should damn the 1st Amendment......?

No, I don't think the First Amendment is a bad idea, and it's a bullshit way you ask the question... Should I be free to yell "FIRE!" in a crowded theater?
The freedom of shareholders of a corporation to worship is no way infringed upon by the legal obligation of said corporation to provide employer provided health care coverage that meets certain minimum federal standards. Just like the freedom to worship and trust in God for protection is in no way infringed upon by forcing car manufactures to meet certain minimum safety standards, trust in God be damned.
No, by now it's pretty obvious that what you call "fascist" is really just stuff you don't like. As has already been spelled out by someone in another thread, you don't know dick about it.
The ACA is law, it's gonna remain law, and millions of people are going to be helped by it while wingnuts like you shout "FASCISM!" with no idea what you're talking about.
And tens of millions more will be hurt by it.
And actually, the term Fascism could apply here. The whole ObamaCare debacle is predicated upon enslaving the American people to the rule of corporations.
Oh well, guess we better go single-payer then.
I honestly cannot believe how stupid the conservatives in this thread are being.
You're still here? I thought for sure you'd be playing on your PS3 by now and sucking down Ramen Noodles
I thought you'd be out bombing an abortion clinic and killing innocent people. Guess we're both surprised.

From day one the majority of Americans did NOT want Bammy Care....do you always lie like this?

The majority opposed ObamaCare and a plurality still want it repealed.
