When it comes to health issues, there are quite a few measures we should be taking since it is such a glaring need with an obvious remedy. Sixty-two percent of all personal bankruptcies can be tied to catastrophic illnesses. We should be spending quite a bit more as a society on preventative illnesses. Pregnancy, of course, is not an illness but the costs are quite high. Why not prevent them through monthly outlays made by the insured--not corporations like Hobby Lobby?

let's not forget this leftist POS.......Sotomayor rejected Hobby Lobby's request to block the requirement on an emergency basis.....but that they could continue to challenge the mandate in the lower courts....gee how nice of her......they can spend time and money on a slow-moving court challenge while they are also going broke being fined at the rate of $1.3 million fine PER DAY.....

Why should he give a fuck if his employees want to use birth control? If the employers want to be up to their dicks in our healthcare business, everyone needs to play by the same rules, regardless of religion, creed, shade of Monkey khaki, etc., etc.

I wasn't aware that the owners of Hobby Lobby were complaining about their employees using birth control. Did I miss something?

The problem is forcing people to buy health care from their employer via tax code favoritism and manipulation, in effect creating monopolies. Stop screaming about the symptoms and start looking at the problem.

Here's the deal: people wanted something done. Poll after poll showed that a public option was popular. Conservatives didn't want that and managed to stop it from happening. Something got done anyway. Whatever downsides there might be will be dealt with.

You don't want this and you can get enough people elected to get rid of it, then you better be prepared for people to call even harder for something even more socialistic, because you are the minority.
