No one was just going to give those workers better wages just because. They had to use collective bargaining power to bend management to their will. And so they did. No one said workers don't deserve or need wage hikes, especially in Bidennomic Hard Times. The OP just points out that the cost will be passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices.
BTW, the same thing will happen to the price of American-made cars with the latest UAW contract. This will knock some consumers out of the new car market due to higher prices and Bidenomic high car loan interest rates. It will lead to layoffs in the UAW ranks.

The issue is, like all conservatives said when liberals were virtue signaling over this, that the raise will not be paid by UPS. But by everyday Americans everywhere.
At a time of the highest inflation in over 50 years, the highest food inflation in recorded history and an economy that is teetering - this is not a good thing.
That is the issue. Once again, like all liberals, you never address the situation. Rather try to formulate the argument into something else you have a better chance of winning.

So to clarify you are stating the workers asking for a raise is not a good thing correct.
