Darrell Issa and his "investigation" shennigans.

The fact remains that EVERY claim made by the GOP thugs has been exposed as a lie. PERIOD. The case was thrown out because the lies were exposed in the DoJ investigation.
And the video?
The video shows Hill was lying in his DoJ testimony about the panthers being directly in front of the door blocking his entry. They were standing at the curb well away from the door, and after politely answering Hill's questions, turned away from him and ignored him.

Hill was exposed as a liar, and as his was the ONLY complaint against the panthers, the case was thrown out for lack of evidence.
And, of course, you don't see any threatening and intimidating.

GOP thugs? You mean the guy with the camera phone?
Was he intimidating the poor guy with the weapon in his hand? :cuckoo:

"The case was thrown out because the lies were exposed in the DoJ investigation"

Thrown out after the Justice Department won by default??

That Ed can view that video and not see a violation of the Voters Rights Act is testament to how far some people will go to protect this Administration. I'm sorry but you couldn't come up with a more blatant example of voter intimidation. That case wasn't thrown out because lies were exposed. That case had already been won by the Bush DOJ and was subsequently dropped by the Obama DOJ under Eric Holder's direction.
The CON$ervative lies are never-ending!

The Bush DoJ dismissed the criminal complaint against the panthers when no voters could be found to complain!!! Bush appointees then filed a civil lawsuit against the panthers based on Hill's claim that he was blocked from entry to the building. The panthers did not contest the civil lawsuit and so the Bush appointees asked the DoJ for a default judgment against the panther party which was rejected for lack of evidence when Hill's lies were exposed during the subsequent DoJ investigation.

And apparently neither did any of the voters in that district as not a single one made a complaint against the panthers. The ONLY complaint came from the GOP thug sent there to cause trouble any way he could. his complaint was thrown out when his lie that the panthers blocked his entry to the building was exposed by his Fox interview where he admitted he heroically walked into the building. As the posted video showed, not only did the panthers not block his entry into the building, Hill made no attempt to even enter the building choosing instead to confront the panthers who were well away from the door and try to provoke them.

The lies just keep on adding up. It was the REQUEST for a default judgment against the New Black Panther Party that was thrown out for lack of evidence.

The Black Panther thugs didn't respond to the charges. That means they lose, by default.

To make it simple for a simpleton, the case was thrown out for lack of evidence when the ONLY complaint, which came from GOP operative Hill, was exposed as a lie by Hill's own words in his Fox interview!!!
Get it???

Sorry, but it is not possible to make it simple enough for a simpleton like you to ever see or admit.

The case, however, was tossed out by the current infestation of partisan hack libs ruining -- err -- running the "Justice" Department. And before you jump up and down and tell us all again how it was the Bush Administration that dropped the criminal charges, get a grip. That's a given. But it was still a fucking liberal position, not a valid legal one.

Any objective person looking at the videos

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neGbKHyGuHU&feature=player_embedded"]"Security" patrols stationed at polling places in Philly - YouTube[/ame]

knows EXACTLY what is going on there.

Even you. The difference is: guys like you will NEVER be honest about it. Never.

Get it?

Of course you do. And just as certainly, you will just revert to form and persist in your transparent efforts to lie your way around reality.
The fact remains that EVERY claim made by the GOP thugs has been exposed as a lie. PERIOD. The case was thrown out because the lies were exposed in the DoJ investigation.

Your lie does not a "fact" make.

Bottom line is that Shabazz was standing in front of that polling place brandishing a nightstick...playing "dress up tough guy" with his idiot buddy and telling people that he was "security". It was an obvious violation of the Voters Rights Act and whoever was in charge at that polling station should have had to answer as to why he or she let behavior like that go on for over an hour and didn't call the police.

It's also obvious from the way Shabazz tried to conceal the nightstick from the police that he knew he was in trouble for carrying it. Then there's his buddy's blatant lies later on about seeing Shabazz or the nightstick when reporters started showing up and it was clear he realized that they shouldn't have been doing what they were doing.

Candidate Barack Obama promised a color blind Administration and then let Eric Holder make a mockery of that pledge by tossing this case out for lack of evidence. He wasted no time at all letting us all know that his campaign promises were nothing more than hot air.

By the way...I can't help but laugh at your attempts to portray Chris Hill as a "thug" because he used a camera phone to ask Shabazz why he was standing there with a nightstick in his hand. Does that make all of the OWS protestors "thugs" as well because they film everything that's happening on THEIR camera phones?
No matter how many times you lie about having your arms at your sides means you are "brandishing" a weapon, you will still trying to redefine the word to control the debate as you have been programmed.

The case was tossed for lack of evidence because GOP thug Hill was caught lying!!!! It was not his voting district and he was there only to cause trouble. If you notice in your own video when thug Hill first approaches the panthers, he asks if everything is all right, and in the background the non-panther guy standing there says everything is fine. Goon Hill then tries to provoke the panthers. He falsely claimed they BLOCKED his entry, but your own video shows he approached them and they only faced him to answer his questions, once they got tired of his repeated attempts to provoke them they turned away from him and ignored him. His own statement while lying to Fox contradicted his lie that he was blocked from entering the building and he was the ONLY complaint against the panthers!!!! If that isn't a lack of evidence there is no such thing as a lack of evidence. Even when the cops came and said "you can't stop people from voting" the girl in the background said "they're not."
So the whole incident was fabricated by the liar Hill who gave false testimony and should have been prosecuted for perjury. That GOP thug Hill was not prosecuted is the true injustice here!!!

And I call GOP operative Hill a GOP thug because he was at the polling place for the sole purpose of causing trouble. You have a white guy in a black voting district videoing the people going in to vote. He was there to intimidate the voters with his camera and keep the black vote down in a critical state, which is quite different from videoing YOURSELF. Just ask any cop making an arrest if you are trying to video it!!! Many people have been maced and arrested for videoing cops in public. Or in any public place like a mall or beach, take out your camera and and make it obvious you are videoing the people there and see how intimidated they feel, and that is even without the white on black dynamic.

But using your moronic rationalization, if holding a stick by your side is "brandishing" a weapon, then everyone who walks with a cane in public is BRANDISHING a weapon. :cuckoo:

So a white guy with a camera phone is "intimidating" but a black guy in full Black Panther regalia brandishing a nightstick is not?

You keep referring to Mr. Hill as a "thug". He was actually an official poll watcher as was Barton Bull. Both of those gentlemen had every right to be at that polling station and both had every right to question why Mr. Shabazz was standing out front with a nightstick in his hands and to file a complaint with the police.

Mr. Shabazz lied when he told Mr. Hill that he was "security". Mr. Shabazz's partner lied when he was subsequently asked about Mr. Shabazz and the nightstick.

As for a cane vs. a nightstick? Is it now your contention that Mr. Shabazz has some sort of handicap? That he was using a two foot long nightstick as an aid to walking? Because if you are, Ed...you've just gone from the absurd to the farcical.

Yes, a white racist at a black polling place taking pictures of the voters is quite intimidating to blacks, and people are free to exercise their first amendment rights and wear whatever clothes they want as well as stand with their arms at their sides. CON$ hate the first amendment, at least for everyone else!

Poll watchers in Pennsylvania have very limited rights which do not include harassing voters standing outside a polling place minding their own business. They do not have the right to approach voters outside the polling place and give them the third degree.

Interesting how you have no problem with GOP thug Hill lying his racist ass off to Fox news or to the DOJ, but a black man providing security to protect minority voters from GOP racists looking to cause trouble at the polls is a sin.

So now Mr. Hill is not only a "thug" but a "racist"? You base that on what, Ed? Some racist statement he made? Maybe he was wearing a hooded sheet and burning a cross on the lawn of the polling place? I KNOW that you wouldn't accuse someone of being a racist or a thug simply on the basis of their skin color! Nobody could be that ignorant, right Ed? I KNOW that you've got some proof that Hill was a racist or you wouldn't make such a spurious charge. I suppose you're accusing Barton Bull of being a racist thug as well? The founder of the Village Voice? Do you have any idea how stupid you look trying to make that assertion hold up?

Then you accuse Hill of harassing voters? What voters pray tell, did Mr. Hill take pictures of? He took pictures of Mr. Shabazz and his friend in their little Halloween get ups. He didn't take pictures of anyone else who was trying to vote. He didn't "intimidate" anyone else. That's a charge you're making with absolutely nothing to back it up except your desire to make Hill the bad guy instead of admitting that what Mr. Shabazz did that day was illegal.

So you claim that Shabazz was there to "protect" minorities from GOP racists looking to cause trouble? Do you have a single example of ANYONE harassing minority voters at that polling place? You first state that Hill shouldn't have been there because it was a black neighborhood but then you want to claim that this overwhelmingly black neighborhood needs to be protected from a white guy with a camera phone? Gee, Ed...I used to live in some bad ass areas of Boston...I don't remember the minority folks needing protection from white guys with cell phones. Usually it was the white guy with the cell phone who needed protection. I guess inner city Philly blacks are a bunch of candy asses though...right? "Help me...oh my god...help me! There's a white man with a camera phone! Help me...won't somebody help me?" (eye-roll)

Our first amendment rights do not include carrying a nightstick, Ed. Trying to claim that this was a first amendment thing is ALMOST as stupid as your claim that Shabazz's nightstick was the same as a cane or that he was there to protect blacks from rampaging GOP thugs in from the suburbs to kick some inner city ass.

Of course Hill is a racist! Why else was he causing trouble at a black polling place? Why else does he believe he has the right to harass a black voter OUTSIDE the polling place. Unlike GOP thug and racist Hill, both panthers are registered voters in that district!!!

And talk about the CON$ervative dumb act, YOU posted a video of GOP thug and racist Hill harassing two black voters for wearing clothes that he doesn't like!!!

A stick or baton is not illegal in Pennsylvania, and the first amendment protects the right to wear a panther uniform, as you well know. A stick is not a blackjack! Shabazz was not arrested for carrying a weapon or wearing cloths racists hate. He was not arrested at all. He was asked to leave the area and he chose to do so. He was not charged with a crime. So he was not harassed for committing a crime, he was harassed by GOP racists for being openly and proudly BLACK in a public place.

And there was no one named Barton BULLshit, or even Bartle BULLshit, the former editor of the Village Voice, at the polling place and BULLshit was not a registered poll watcher in Pennsylvania. This is just more of YOUR bullshit.

18 Pa.C.S. § 908: Prohibited offensive weapons
Prohibited offensive weapons

(c) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this subsection: "Firearm." Any weapon which is designed to or may readily be converted to expel any projectile by the action of an explosive or the frame or receiver of any such weapon. "Offensive weapons." Any bomb, grenade, machine gun, sawed-off shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches, firearm specially made or specially adapted for concealment or silent discharge, any blackjack, sandbag, metal knuckles, dagger, knife, razor or cutting instrument, the blade of which is exposed in an automatic way by switch, push-button, spring mechanism, or otherwise, any stun gun, stun baton, taser or other electronic or electric weapon or other implement for the infliction of serious bodily injury which serves no common lawful purpose.

P.S. § 3050(d)). Section 417(b)

Watchers allowed in the polling place are entitled to inspect the voting check list
and either of the two numbered lists of voters during those intervals when voters
are not present in the polling place, provided that the watcher does not mark
upon or alter any of these official records. (The judge of election must either
personally supervise or delegate supervision of such inspection of the list or
lists.) Section 417(b)

I asked you to provide me with a single example of Mr. Hill interacting with anyone else at that polling station other than Mr Shabazz and Mr. Jackson, the two Black Panthers. You didn't provide one. The reason you didn't was that Mr. Hill DIDN'T harass any voters. The only people that he photographed or questioned were Mr. Shabazz and Mr. Jackson. You've chosen to describe the two men standing outside the polling station as "voters". The fact is that neither of them were there as voters...they were there making a political statement by the New Black Panther Party.

That video proves that the Black Panther Party went to the polling station that day not because of something Mr. Hill or Mr. Bull did but because they supposedly had "intelligence" that the Philly police department would be harassing black voters on election day. So not even the Black Panthers themselves back up your story of Hill being a racist, Ed. As a matter of fact they were more than willing to admit that they did what they did.

What I find most amusing about your pathetic attempts to paint Mr. Hill and Mr. Bull as racists is that the REAL racist in this confrontation was Mr. Shabazz, something that is quite obvious in the following videos.

The New Black Panther Party is so racist in fact that they were sued by the founders of the original Black Panther Party in an attempt to make them stop using the name. The New Black Panther Party is so racist that they have been designated a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League. These are the people that you've tried to portray as innocent "voters" standing outside a polling station.

As for Mr. Shabazz not being charged with a crime? He was in fact charged...something that the leader of the New Black Panther Party points out in the following video.

Lastly, Ed...you can try and make disparaging comments about Barton Bull...referring to him as "Bullshit" but you do so only because you don't have anything to counter his testimony. You know as well as I do that Bull isn't a racist GOP thug. He's the founder of the Village Voice and is anything but a staunch conservative yet he found the actions of the New Black Panther Party that day at the polling station to be so egregious that he filed a complaint against them. You can't attack his character or his testimony so you attack his name? How pathetic.

GOP racist thug Hill was there to disrupt the voting process at that black district any way he could. The GOP know that cameras and police intimidate minority voters and have used that fact to depress the minority vote across the country for decades. There were other voters in the video of the two panther voters first of all, and there is no way you could possibly know just how long they were there taking videos simply because the edited video is the only one you know about.

There is no denying Hill's racism and all the other GOP racists who had a shit fit over the clothes the panthers wore. To GOP racists, blacks are supposed to be submissive and wear ONLY submissive clothing approved by their white masters. The panther uniform is not sufficiently submissive according to the standards white supremacists demand of their black subjects. Blacks must submissively explain their presence in public to the satisfaction of their white masters, as was demanded by GOP racist Hill of the panthers for the audacity of their standing in front of their own voting district's polling place.

And again there is no Barton BULLshit. Bartel BULLshit was an avowed McCain supporter and is therefore hardly unbiased in this situation, at which he was NOT even present!!!

Again, if what the panthers were doing was so outrageous, you CON$ would not have had to exaggerate holding one's arms at one's sides as "brandishing" or LIE about blocking GOP racist thug Hill's entrance to the building. The CON$ervative lies expose the weakness of their argument!!!

Give me a single example of Mr. Hill disrupting the voting process.

The GOP has been using cameras for decades to keep minority voters from the polls? You know what, Ed? At this point you've become delusional. Let's say for the sake of argument that the GOP did do such a thing. If that were the case then why would Hill be using a camera phone instead of an actual camera? Don't you think that if he really was there to intimidate minority voters by using a camera, that he'd be using an ACTUAL camera and not a little camera phone?

The GOP wants blacks to be submissive? What a crock. This wasn't about "uppity" blacks. This was about a PERSON breaking the law by standing in front of a polling place brandishing a weapon. Mr. Shabazz violated the 1965 Voters Rights Act. His actions were so egregious that even a racist organization like the New Black Panther Party suspended him for them. Think about that for a moment and then try to make this about Mr. Hill being a racist thug.

As for Barton Bull? You're now claiming he wasn't there? You really don't know the facts in this case, do you, Ed? Barton Bull WAS there and he filed a complaint because of what he witnessed.

You keep trying to make the point that Shabazz wasn't threatening with his night stick because he kept his arms at his sides. Look at the video. Isn't that Shabazz tapping the nightstick against his hand as he comes around to confront Mr. Hill? Hardly keeping his arms at his side. That's showing someone that you have a weapon. Contrast THAT with what Mr. Shabazz does when the Philly Police show up. THEN he hides his nightstick under his arm. Why does he do that? Because it's obviously dawning on the idiot that he's in trouble for standing out there with a weapon in his hands.

The more you try and argue this, Ed...the more ridiculous you appear.
