Because no country, including the US, has ever shown as much concern for civilians as Israel is showing in Gaza, and no country, including the US, has ever worked so hard to bring aid to civilians while intense fighting is still going on, and yet you claim Israelis have no real concern for the welfare of civilians, and while you call Gaza civilians innocent, polls show nearly 3 out of 4 of them, 72% applauded the rape, torture and murders of Israelis on Oct 7, 85% of them in the West Bank.

You ignore the fact that every effort being made to feed the civilian population in Gaza is made by Israel, while the while the rest of the world complains it can't be done. While the UN and aid agencies continue to falsely claim that that Israel is holding up aid convoys aid trucks pile up on the Gaza side of the border and these agencies can't find drivers to distribute then, so Israel built a new road cutting Gaza in half that aid trucks can use to safely use to bring aid to northern Gaza and has organized clans not affiliated with Hamas to guard the aid at distribution points and the sea route to bring aid to Cyprus and then to Gaza was negotiated and set up by Israel and then handed to Biden, who now claims it was his initiative.

Again, no country, including the US, has ever abided by International Humanitarian Law as meticulously as Israel is and this anti-Israel chant about chant you are now humming about Gaza civilians claims nothing can be done to help the civilians short of ending the war with Hamas in charge and take everything back to Oct 6.

you'll notice that i'm very hawkish in my peace activism,
and how i'd advocated Hamas be shoved into the dustbin of history,
with Israelis (or the U.N.) taking over the education systems for Palestinians.

It is because I have been reading your recent posts that I was so surprised by this one, which seems to ignore the facts on the ground in favor of anti Israel propaganda.

We all know that the problem getting aid to the people, mostly in the north, who need it most is not Israelis restrictions but the difficulty finding drivers who will risk driving the trucks to the distribution points, and as I pointed out, Israel is dealing with this problem, while these aid agencies continue to falsely claim Israel is preventing the distribution of aid.

Common sense should tell you these claims are false. The next step in destroying Hamas, is a ground operation in Rafah, but Israel has stated it will not begin until civilians have been evacuated, moved north, and so it is essential that aid be available for a million or more civilians in the north, so it makes absolutely no sense to claim Israel is preventing the ad it needs to establish to carry out its military plans.

you must've not read that CNN article i posted a bit earlier.

Ok course I read it, and it ignores facts on the ground, trucks on the Gaza side of the borders that the aid agencies can't find drivers to take them to distribution points, and claims that these trucks are being held up by Israel.

It calls the Hamas health ministry the territorial health ministry in order to hide the fact its article is based on propaganda.

It makes the fatuous argument that Netanyahu's statements that Israel is providing the minimum amount of aid, and that Israel is providing all the aid that is needed are somehow contradictory.

The article deals with anti Israel claims, but not with any of the facts on the ground.

There are absolutely no indications the Palestinians are any committed to the destruction of Israel than they were on Oct 6, and there is no rational basis for believing this will change in the foreseeable future, so to prevent future large scale wars, once Hamas et al have been defeated, the Palestinians in Gaza must be managed by Israel to prevent terror cells like Hamas and Islamic Jihad from ever forming again. This war is the direct result of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 and this cannot happen again.

By not only abiding by International Humanitarian Law - the accumulated wisdom of the modern world for the protection of civilians in wartime - but far exceeding its demands, Israel has done everything possible to minimize civilian casualties.

The violence you see in this century is the direct result of failed US and European ME policies in the last century regarding the Palestinians and Iran, and the refusal of Obama and Biden to address them.
